We're away, "cold and breezy" says the man,and we're in our lucky orange away strip. Lonergan gets the early touch and gives it a Henry Cooper to the big lad... and we win a corner....and...cleared to Zorro and back to Lonergan. Here they come and now they have a corner......from Hunt...that didn't quite work. Pitch not in good shape our commentator says and we don't get a free kick on Danns. We get cracking via Pratley but McGoldrick does well. Baptiste gives away a corner and.......Lonergan punches but they come right back and get a volley in from ten yards. Lucky us...

Tower on 107.4 fm.

Big lad making his presence felt up front and then they come at us and Knight shephards it out. Big lad again setting us off. And.......Pratley blown offside after more good work from the big un (not got that name sorted yet). We go again and Mark Davies wins a free kick and.....Pratley scuffles it behind after the big lad won a header.

Just call him Lukas, TD. The big lad up front might be Zat depending how the game unfolds.

Bit of nice stuff involving the big un again and.....Mark Davies volleys wide (when he should have done better apparently). More comment on the bobbly pitch and now they have a corner and......a bit of a scuffle and Medo heads away well. Spearing clears. Throw us and Medo dos well. Knight wellies it and Ipswich give away a throw. All ends in a goal kick to them. Mills breaks up an attack before the big un roughs up a defender and they get a free. Throw them now and then one at Lonergan..thank you. Yukevitch? getting a lot of mention and he seems a willing lad.

Okay, Lucas it is for our point man then. Sounds like good effort from our lads and Mills has to get a touch on a shot. Corner, a scramble and Cresswell fires inches wide. Another corner cleared but Ipswich sounding to be getting more into it. Bit of action in their half but to and fro stuff. They come at us but it ends with a goal kick. Lucas wins a long one then Ream wins a free for us. And......they outnumber us and clear.

Lucas in a bit of pain after a bang but he's okay. Baptiste gets forward but play stops for an injury to a home player. Down a fair amount of time, hope he's okay but a stretcher appears.

A tractor appears (well, okay...a golf cart type thing) and it looks a bit serious. Lengthy stop but he's leaving the field at a slow walk. Wordsworth replaces the injured lad? Mick McCarthy takes his boots off disappointed. Pratley handles and they get the free as play restarts.. Throw us and I think we'll score shortly and......Danns fires straight at the keeper and it's cleared. Throw us and some to and fro. Hunt protests at a decision (now that's a surprise) ....Ream sets us off then they come back and Hunt fouls Mark D. We get the free and Ream and......they clear...back it comes and back it goes before they get it away...

Medo makes a bad tackle and upsets the ref by protesting (we'll forgive him because he fouled Hunt). Now we have a free for an offside. Come on lads, now's the time....give it to Lucas.... Throw us and....we don't seem to be doing too badly and.....Lucas has one cleared for a corner. And ........in and cleared. A throw and....on annd....cleared for them to come forward but stopped by Mark Davies's rump.. :D

Now a free kick us and Ream takes and......in and.....cleared and back and....Pratley tries an overhead that has no effect. Now Pratley and......he's fouled..."cynically" and a tractor gets a yellow. Spearing and......hits it five yards wide..

Half-time approaches (plus that injury time) and we get another free. Medo and......no, Danns and....it's cleared. Walloped out by McGoldrick for a throw. Now they have one and....Pratley, Lucas, Davies, Medo, Pratley and...ohhhhhhh Lucas fires one wide as six mins announced. Ball cushioned back to Lonergan and it produces a bit of to and fro . They get a throw as the commentator says we've done a sterling job so far. Now they have a sally as Pratley does a somersault...or something, and gives away a corner that ends way over the top. Lucas mentioned again but the tractors plough a furrow....straight to Pratley, Davies and.....ohhh Medo skims the crossbar after a nice bit of passing.

Now a late whiff of tractor fumes and we have to defend before Baptiste knocks it out for a throw. And.....it's level-pegging at the break....0-0.

Listening to the Ipswich commentary and they are saying what I think after 45min!

'Bolton can pass the Reasonably well but when they get to the final third they have no creativity or pace which is needed'

he also said...

'This is the poorest game he has seen this season'

Why can't DF see this after 50+ games!

Slightly odd how everyone's suddenly c&nting on about this XI, which is the same as Tuesday's bar Juke for Cravies

Which also gives the lie to picking the team in advance

"Four days after going away to a title-chasing side, I'll obviously pick the same side again"
