Good win, though I didn't listen to it. I was more concerned with the National.

Hasn't disappointed repeatedly in showing how limited his intelligence is that is for sure.

Smash and grab is how you do this division.

If we'd defended at the start of the season like we have done for the past 10 games or so we'd be nearer the top 4 than the bottom 6.
Behave. It's still just dice throwing going on. Happy with the win but it's totally meaningless, now, at this stage of the season.
The problem is this is a shitter end to the season than last season's end to the season, so it hardly fills me with the promise of a Golden Future to come.

Which just goes to prove what a clueless chancing prick he is.

Beaten once in the last ten games and yet we've just limped our way 15th.
Still I think we're finally safe so y'know, full credit to him for managing to achieve that by April the 5th.

Personally I think it shows many things.

One being that some of our players only start turning it on when a contract is up for grabs.

And that we made a mistake playing with a far too open midfield earlier in the season. If we'd had grafters like Danns and Spearing and Medo in the side all season we'd have been much better off. Hopefully we learn from that next season. You have to first and foremost fight to establish your midfield in this division.

would have been slightly less disappointing if the FACT on SF's side wasn't that we only play with 8 players in a 4-2-2 formation... :conf:

still - i guess that's why we employ dougie and not Bobo or SF....

We both know Bobo meant 4-4-2.

Really well taken goal. Mason worried them when he got on. Not sure what role was asked of Trotter, but whatever it was, he didn't fulfil it. Would like to see a replay of the Beckford penalty shout - looked reasonable at the time, and initially thought he'd given it.

And the King's Head was/is a great shout, thank you

but let me correct myself .... formally .... 4-4-2. The formation Dougie doesn't believe in .... oh, but he does, just that he could only play it when he eventually had the right players available .... but then choses NOT to play it, despite those players being available ... comes good when he tries it for 30 minutes.

Thank God he never contradicts himself coz THAT would be confusing.

2012/13 games 31 - 40 -- 6 wins - 2 draws - 2 defeats - 20 points.

2013/14 games 31 - 40 -- 5 wins - 4 draws - 1 defeat - 19 points.

Factually correct, Spotty, based on this set of figures.

2012/13 games 11 - 40 -- 12 wins - 10 draws - 8 defeats - 46 points.

2013/14 games 11 - 40 -- 11 wins - 10 draws - 9 defeat - 43 points.

On this set of figures too!

I was a little surprised by those figures and I'm not one to judge Freedman too harshly, I had thought the gap might be bigger. It appears to me though that the horrendous start to the season is about all that stands between last years lauded effort and this terms diabolical disaster.

Was I the only one hoping that our players were amongst the players arrested this week? It might have explained a few things over the course of this season.

Read what I typed then come back and explain how your response relates at all to what I actually wrote.

That will be a challenge.

Getting sick of the binary nonsense on here.

People can make a point that isn't completely black or white. Seems most on here have completely lost all sense of that.

Interesting ... good work Enoch.

It certainly put that first 10 match start into full perspective.

That late run last season never seemed convincing, but we certainly hoovered-up points. This current one is more 'solid' than outstanding also, but is a welcome relief from early season.
