Any chance of switching it to a Sunday, so that we can all pop round to Bobo's for lunch?

Don't need to be weekend. We could get a good party up in the spacious grounds chez bobo for afternoon tea.Burnden Paddock wrote:Any chance of switching it to a Sunday, so that we can all pop round to Bobo's for lunch?
I'm willing to bring a bottle.

I'd be delighted, but it'll be midweek AND it's 4G minutes away.William the White wrote:Don't need to be weekend. Head here if you're reasonably early.
Bobo will be on Crewe station with his jotter and his cagoule if you want to join him.

Call me Mr Party Pooper, but our last away cup game was a 2-0 defeat, in the Autoglass in 1992.Burnden Paddock wrote:Was our last away cup game against Crewe in the SVT in 1989, when went on to win it? Our name is on the cup!!
Re: Capital 1 cup 2nd round
I went to that one. Just as we parked up the abandonment was announced so we got out of the car, sniffed the Crewe air and then fooked off.General Mannerheim wrote:Oh yeah, that is a bang on chippy! Went there before a game that was rained off once...
my other 2 memories are a 4-4 draw where Blake scored twice but missed a sitter for a win, and one with my late Grandpa where we got a very dubious penalty (foul on Reeves/Philliskirk (?) was outside the box) and I observed Steve Thompson replacing a divot while the Crewe players argued with the ref and distracted him.
I'm going, who else?

Re: Capital 1 cup 2nd round
Not done a away game for agessssssss since my daughter was born (Apart from Wembley).
Might do this one and do a meet with some of the TW gang if anybody is up for it?
