Very happy with this appointment and hoping he shuts the nay-sayers up quickly with a couple of early results. There's no doubt that we have a better quality squad than a fair few teams in this league and I'm sure Lennon has seen the infra-structure of the club along with the under-performing squad and fancies himself to turn it around... perhaps why he chose us when he probably could've waited for a team higher up in the Championship or maybe even a low end Premier league club

He was said to be interested in Cardiff and Fulham but, in the cold light of day, you'd have to say Vincent Tan - cash aside - compares unfavourably with Eddie Davies and, as far as Fulham go, Kit Symons and possibly Hughton were likely to be ahead of him.

That said, I'm happy to have him on board and hopeful he'll have the right combination of nous, grit and ambition to move us in the right direction.

The only threat I've seen from him to the goal, is the possibility he runs into the thing and flattens it. (Although he did hit that "worldy" against Sheff Weds.). He's another classic example of "oh look he's getting a bit better than his first couple of games" - well yes, but it wasn't difficult and doesn't make him any fcking good.

I am the current 'clutching at straws' world champion. I can only hope that he transforms himself into a different player (or from a static wardrobe to something with castors).

The thing is though, he looked good when he played for Millwall so he must have something? (Possibly woodworm.)
What a hero, What a man...... Ooooh, what a bad foul...

I'm still trying to work out which of them played the huge "lump it up the field" when they were doing neat little triangles along the floor.

Think their card might be marked. :-)

Right - name change in place! Let's see how long this one lasts....

Think I'll probably head over to Charlton on Tuesday night, though can't make it to Birmingham. Results in these next two away fixtures against a struggler and a surprise soarer would set things up nicely for the Brentford game. He couldn't have asked for a better first home game, really. They're playing well, Brentford, but definitely a winnable fixture. I am hopeful, and can see five points from the next three. I'd take four, though. Or three.

As per Fulham, I'm hoping to clear the decks to do so too.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
