This has 0-0 written all over it. I'll take that

At least he's kept the back 4 pretty much intact . Slavchev much be booking a flight home by now . Won't be pretty with trotter and coke in the middle but I expect they will spend the game trotting back and forth watching the ball sail over them and looking for scraps . I suspect we will be playing in the modern style long to cravies lay off to winger look for the cross with coke and trotter picking up the the loose ball in theory .
At least it's a stringer 11 than it might have been !
Trotter to bag a double !

With those players I'd go with Rochina and Walker on the wings and Eidur just behind Cravies, but what do I know?
The players you fail to sign never lose you any money.

Is a new era about to dawn at for the Whites. Hope leaving Alf out doesn't mean a lack of goals. Anyway, with a roar of Tractors and a strong odour of diesel at Portland Road, away we go. Bit short of Whites support, the man with the mic claims. Not too surprising for a far away game on a Tueday night. On with it.

Although Eidur didn't play, it's mad to think that there's still a surviving squad member from that Barry Knight massacre in our team today. Hopefully Eidur can dish out a bit of retribution.

That can't be good , hopefully minor stuff. Woolery could trouble them if he gets on and gets a run at their leviathans . It's quite likely we will end up with a curious pairing up top as I doubt the plan is to keep cravies on for 90 and gudjohnsen isn't likely to last the full 90 either having played on Saturday .Little Green Man wrote:Le Fondre out, replaced by Woolery on the bench

Did my initial Royal Navy Training at HMS Ganges in 1959, just outside Ipswich at Shotley Gate. Ipswich was a sh1thouse even then, measured by Dan's criteria, and it was a sh1thouse when I went there last year. Only good thing was the exit road is now dual carriageway. Barry Knight still gives me the shivers so I'm hoping the revenge angels are looking down on us tonight and with all thee new players we can football the feckin' Tractor Boys into submission and grab a win.
Don't try to be a great man. Just be a man and let history make up its own mind.

Walker gets a good word at the off. Commentators start with a chat then N.L has a chuff at the ref for not giving us a foul. More chat and we'll mention the game in a minute....I think.....and....ping and pong brings a goal kick at either end. Rochina gets an early touch and we get a throw. Dervite and....cleared into the stand for another. More chat about this and that then the Tractors sally and get the first corner. Mills clears, they shoot skywards over the bar.
Rochina again and we lose it. Trotter loses it and ...bit more to and fro and eventually we get a goalkick. Hey up, Eidur gets a bit of a whack and then......Eidur rises from the dead and then keeper has to beat away a good effort from C.D.

With who at left wingback?Jonah wrote:Mutterings of a possible 3 5 2....
On Slavchev: there were five loaners in the squad until Alf got injured... But you imagine if he's not in a squad soon he's not up to scratch.

Walker on left and Vela on right according to official Facebook accountDave Sutton's barnet wrote:With who at left wingback?Jonah wrote:Mutterings of a possible 3 5 2....

Re: Forsooth, is that a tractor I see before me ?
Great start for Bury? What game are we at?. Long ball starts a sally from the homers but we .....well, whatever we were going to do becomes a throw. And....Amos has it and clears. Liner flags C.D offside as the commentators miss the play from behind the stanchions. We go again and they whack it back and work forward. And.....Amos stands up well to a good effort. Quick break us, sent back for them and they win a corner. Ream not doing well there, says the man. And.....and.....a poorish ball ends it amongst talk of Craig Davies puling a muscle. Please no! Seems okay and now they come, we stop them and the smoke goes up the chimney just the same.

Re: Forsooth, is that a tractor I see before me ?
Eidur presses well but Roschina can't quite capitalise. Tractor free kick ends up with a flick cleared by Walker. Lennon not at all happy with the ref..that's unusual. Murphy free kick ends up harmlessly out of play. More back and forth from both sides the mic man describes an attack on Roschina as "horrible". Another foul goes amiss with no ref intervention and Eidur gets a bit of treatment. Ball in, cleared out and now Walker is down and up. Throw us and Roschina getting good words from the mic man. C.D has a bit of a break forth and.....suddenly it's at our end. We clear via Walker and Dervite. W have it back as Ream returns from ? And.....C.D has another crack and there's a kefuffle about a corner not given. Lennon in good voice.
