Indeed. And he scored today against Palace for the dev squad.Prufrock wrote:Google reckons he's already one if ours. A yoof.Bijou Bob wrote:Ross Fitzsimmons s tweeting about Jamie Thomas with a winking emoticon. Double bluff?
Two actually. And it sounds like a crazy game. Bolton were 3-1 up, got pegged to 3-2 and then had a penalty given against them and a man sent off. That penalty was missed. Palace got a another penalty. Missed that, too. Then they got a third penalty and finally scored it.

Let's hope Wellington is better than Afobe (was). Iles now saying g it's not Murphy from Norwich although he's on Lennon's radar.

Noted that Andy Kellett was one to concede a penalty. Must have been injured for most of pre-season ala Cough, Walker if he's only now getting a game at Dev squad level? The Palace team they played against included Chamakh, Sako and Hennessey.KeyserSoze wrote:Indeed. Can't recall Kellett being injured pre-season. ISTR he went to Austria or wherever it was, but when we came back he was playing in the "XI" games rather than the first-teamers.Dr Hotdog wrote:Noted that Andy Kellett was one to concede a penalty. Also: Silver would be a rubbish material for wellingtons.

He had a very slight calf strain and missed one of our games and a couple of sessions, then has been in the stiffs sinceDave Sutton's barnet wrote:Can't recall Kellett being injured pre-season. did he come back giving it billy big bollocks or something?
Re: If carlsberg did transfer threads.....This would be it!
I'd be very surprised
He was on the team sheet to start at Southport but something happened as he didn't take the field
It was rumoured at the time he was being transferred, but denied by Lennon

Yep. My understanding is that Thomas is the real deal & 17 years old I think.throwawayboltonian wrote:Yeah Jamie Thomas is already one of ours - came all the way through our academy I think. Both him and Woolery were slapping them in for fun in pre-season for the dev team. Some of the keenos I know who follow the dev team closely reckon that he's a more promising striking talent than Clough. Bold words, but he does appear to be very promising.
EDIT: Also Pisano all but confirmed.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Someones changed Wellington Silva's wiki page:
Loans in England
On 17 August 2015, Silva was rumoured to be joining Bolton Wanderers F.C. on loan for the 2015/2016 season. The move never materialised and later on the same day Silva signed for Nottingham Forest F.C to join up with his childhood hero Doogie Freedman who hosted his favourite tea time show 'Doogie Bingo Wings' Uncle Traf from Wanderersways wasn't whelmed either way.
Pfffft.

Nixon has just tweeted that we have several deals in the offing which could mean 3 or 4 coming in.

Carayol to Preston according to Nixon and rumours that Boro have bid for Antonio at Forest. Here's hoping they sell from under Dougie's feet

So, right as of now the answer is "no".throwawayboltonian wrote:Pisano sort of but not official, bit like Ream going to Fulham. All but signed. Well he was signed as Cahill's 'replacement' when we were still in the Premier League... it's not difficult to imagine he was on £20k+ a week...TKIZ! wrote:Really?
