If carlsberg did transfer threads.....This would be it!

Well we've already landed Jonny X - The Invisible Striker, it would seem.

I like this approach to the internet, there are far too many pictures on it. The standard of grammar would improve immeasurably if we got rid of them all.

Lolz.

I've seen fairly level headed West Ham fans (yes there are some about) say that when Carrol isn't playing and Nolan is, it's evident that he's the worst player they've had in years. He goes through a game touching the ball a dozen times an hour and his mobility has gone. He was never really quick, butbhe could move and get around the pitch

I don't see what he'll bring to US.

I'm sure BWFCI that you remember him being something I don't, but principally his thing was getting into the box and finishing good service. He doesn't have that luxury here.

I remember him being good at shouting, pointing and scoring. As an actual midfielder he was pretty poor at tackling, passing etc. Can't remember pressing.

With the right players around him he'd be great to have back, but I don't believe we have those players, so would be an expensive luxury I doubt we can afford.

Bolton Wanderers are pleased to announce the appointment of Steve Walford as the club’s new assistant manager.

Boasting 25 years of coaching experience, the 57-year-old is well-known to Whites manager Neil Lennon having served as Martin O’Neill’s head coach at both Leicester City and Celtic, as well as to first team coach Garry Parker and striker Emile Heskey.

Currently a member of O’Neill’s coaching set-up with the Republic of Ireland, Walford has also worked under him at Wycombe Wanderers, Norwich City, Aston Villa and Sunderland.

A defender during his playing days, he won the FA Cup with Arsenal in 1979 and also enjoyed notable stints with Tottenham Hotspur, Norwich City and West Ham United.

The club can also confirm that Johan Mjallby has left Bolton Wanderers due to personal reasons.

Bolton Wanderers would like to thank Johan for his service and wish him well in his future endeavours.

From this morning's presser -

ZachClough's injury is a delicate one. He may need surgery but we're awaiting an opinion on it.

We are looking to add to the squad, but it's a case of finding the right player - we don't want to rush into it.

MaxJClayton, David Wheater and Liam Trotter came through a behind-closed-doors game yesterday and did well.

MaxJClayton isn't far away, but we could do with another body or two for added support.

Francesco Pisano isn't far away, while MaxJClayton is probably a game or two away from being amongst the squad again.

So .... we can expect him go rock up at Newcastle in a couple of weeks I guess.

I thought he did a great job too, really helped the lads at the back keep the clean sheet. There would still be nobheads in the crowd eagerly waiting for his first mistake though.
