"In response to an article published in the Sunday Mirror on Sunday 20 December, Bolton Wanderers can confirm that the club are currently conducting an internal investigation regarding the matter concerned.

The club will be making no further comment at this moment in time."

I'm going to see The Damned tonight. How appropriate.

Second band I ever watched when they were touring The Black Album in Nov 81, at what is now The Academy 2. Saw them play Bolton Town hall a few years ago and in the intervening years they appear to have acquired an absolute bellend of a keyboard player. Enjoy the gig.

Anyway - Lennon. My personal thoughts are that this investigation is likely to be something of a whitewash anyway as if Lennon does leave the club, who on earth would come in to this unholy mess? Even Danny Wilson would turn his nose up at us just now!
May the bridges I burn light your way

I'd like to make a statement of my own.

'In response to the scurrilous insinuations by Mr B T Clown (this forum, today) about certain events in the toilets of a public house, I am heartbroken at being used so cheaply, but will make no further statement until the tabloid bidding war for my warts and all (spoiler) exclusive has concluded. I ask that forum

It'd be ironic if the manager resigned for shagging around just as Dean Holdsworth leads a take over

When Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou was arrested for "engaging in a lewd act" in a public restroom, I thought his subsequent performance on 'Parkinson' was quality.

Streets ahead of Mr End's woeful squirming.

Yeh, exactly. But by asking his bit on the side how to do it???
Maybe his third (contemporaneous) shag has more reality based fundamental advice she could give Neil. Something like "try sodding off" would do it.

Lennon will be gone before the year end I reckon, coupled with the clubs current woes and it being of his own reported, alleged doing, a clear deck for the incoming (if any) new owners will look sweet.
Silly boy, I had high hopes for him once.
Wish him no ill, but a button up fly might be appropriate.

I think they will take this very seriously. I expect him to be employed on zero pay while the investigation runs its course.

Actually, no. This is salvational. It means getting rid of a dick/prick/cock* at no cost to the club. It's more miraculous than what Mother Theresa didn't do!
