Good win and some heart shown for a change. That ref wants talking about. So many yellows and probably fortunate not to be some reds too. Penalties not given, 50-50 fouls, he's a friggin nightmare...well, almost Barry Knightmare. Let's hope we can now trot on and get into Europe. 8)

In the grand scheme of things one win isn't a great deal. It just feels like it is.

Great win, my apologies once again for interrupting the bingo in the club when Madine scored. We always looked secure except for set pieces when we didn't seem to realise that Duffy is their go to man EVERY time. Moxey outstanding, that's him gone then!

Played Well. Back 4 was superb. Can we repeat this performance? Best team we have been able to put out for awhile. We are a winger away from a decent team. What can we do with Feeney? Forgot how it felt to win a match.

I did think it was screaming out for some pace in the last few minutes once the game was stretched and was suprised to see him tell our loanee to sit back down once he was stripped. It allowed them to press with 10 players and play a high line, putting us under much more pressure.

What I was screaming for someone to do in the last 10 minutes was take the ball into the corner. I know we haven't had much opportunity recently to run a game down but we were hopeless. Punt the ball up field as far as possible and give it back to Blackburn seemed to be only tactic.

Anyway, a better balanced team than I have seen this season. Everyone committed but still lacking creativity and pace. Defence was good and midfield OK. Madine hardly won a header all game but took his goal really well. Clough was fairly quiet but I like him. I think he would be much better in a decent side.

Game plan for the Dingle defence, Duffy, Hanley, Olsen and co, seemed to be take a running jump at him or keep hands in sight to fool the ref (easily done today) but chest him in the back as he went for the ball. Bunch of cloggers and allowed to get away with murder by an incompetent ref. Not sure why Mark Davies kept drifting left as he's far more effective central and not fast enough to get back and cope with pacey players like Delfouneso who caused us endless problems when he came on. Pratley Prince ( without getting carried away) generally did okay and Wheater was a genuine star in defence today. Moxey and Holding impressed but we really do need to play less hopeful balls into the box and use a bit of imagination. Wheater's needed at the back and Madine apart we have little size to win high balls. If we stay alive we still need a strong front man. Feeney gets the ball in there but we don't have the muscle to take enough advantage.

Had this conversation with WtW. I cannot believe that this is the same guy we saw at Watford last season.
