I long for the days when just being shit at football was our main concern.

Bassini says "He can keep writing notes, that’s fine because I have facts and evidence to back up what I am saying and I am speaking to my legal people now to make sure this is brought to justice."
Now that is the basic wanker we are dealing with...all he ever does is threaten litigation.

This. In fact:

Re: Red Hats and One-eyed Snakes - the ups and downs of new management.
There is a dim light of hope in Ken's latest Chairman Notes. He praises how other consortiums abided by confidentiality norms, unlike motormouth Bassini. No talk of tyre kickers. This leads me to suspect that he is still in contact with one or more of the other interested parties and will remove Bassini from the field on Monday evening and maybe engage with A.N.Other.
I am also of the opinion that Gordon Taylor at the PFA is heavily involved in persuading the players to strike, in an attempt to bring this whole farce to a conclusion. As well as being an ex-player, GT is a lifelong Wanderers fan. I am sure he has contacts in the town who are more than just interested onlookers.
Sometimes it is the things you know nothing about that are more critical than the things you do know.
An intetesting few days ahead methinks.

We’re caught between two bullshitters bullshitting all over the place. Christ knows what to believe. He unsuccessfully tried to sue loads of people at Watford so it’s hardly a new thing with him.Lost Leopard Spot wrote: ↑Sat Apr 27, 2019 5:06 pmBassini says "He can keep writing notes, that’s fine because I have facts and evidence to back up what I am saying and I am speaking to my legal people now to make sure this is brought to justice."

Today in the Sunday Times, Rod Liddle, in a piece about us, made this staggering claim... "Bolton are an estimated £200m in debt..."
That can't be true surely? Has an extra nought been inadvertently inserted? Or just bullshit journalism?

It’s bullshit, nothing to do with journalism. In other words, just what I’d expect from that waste of organs.Lost Leopard Spot wrote: ↑Sun Apr 28, 2019 1:05 pmToday in the Sunday Times, Rod Liddle, in a piece about us, made this staggering claim... "Bolton are an estimated £200m in debt..."

Rumour has it Sammi Ami is off to China. If it's true, it really does feel like the end of and era.

I'm awaiting the day that, like stadia, footballers get renamed to reflect their sponsorship: Sammy Ameobi transforms into Super Huawei.TANGODANCER wrote: ↑Sun Apr 28, 2019 2:10 pmRumour has it Sammi Ami is off to China. If it's true, it really does feel like the end of and era.
