Think it was Feeney who fluffed the cross ... and Mason should have had a 4th and then a 5th ... and they've had 2 goals correctly disallowed ... all in the last 7-8 minutes.
Djorkaeff ... Djorkaeff must score ... he does ... HE DOES !!!

Mason almost had his FOURTH wuth some great pressure from Lee! Poor finish though one on one with GK

aaand it's 3-3 with some absolutely suicidal defending...

Mason hat trick deserves a result.

Well, it allegedly has been coming for a long time, but the defence is still a tad grim and if this is a win we only go up by one place so only the beginning. But the team have proved that they can have a reasonably good goal scorer with the right service and back up. Now we need to move on and not take the normal Dougie 3 steps back. Now to Wolves and another win will build confidence.
Don't try to be a great man. Just be a man and let history make up its own mind.

First hat-trick (well competitive one before anyone says 'Benik Afobe') since Fredi Bobic in 2002 I believe.

Been in the lounge, watching the stream with no commentary. Tried having Tower on at the same time, but the two are way apart, so when we score and I leap up in the air screeching, the dog goes bananas and races outside barking his bollox off, wife thinks we're a couple of maniacs. More so since we did it for every goal...Dog's very confused right now and still looking for a burglar.

Mason needed to score that hat trick because we're still very shaky in defence. One of theirs was offside and their goalie should have got a red for that challenge on Lonergan. Chungy did make a difference, but this lot were hardly Real Madrid. On another day I'd have been moaning about Mason's misses, they were pretty bad, but since we actually won one and now have five points, well......yeah, okay.

Just in from the airport. My thanks to Bruce for the score updates. First thing I hear on switching on the radio, is that we're signing paddy Kenny. W.The.F?? I go away for one week......
