Nixon saying goalposts may have moved today and there is some 'intrigue'. He's trying to get to the bottom of it.

But says Davies is now desperate to deal.

^^ sorry Clappers, Spotty, 20 years ago I'd have been only too pleased to chuck some cash in but these days? Nah. I couldn't bear the thought of my hard earned going into the pockets of some sleazeball agent.

Ah well.
I reckon if the doomsday scenario did arise then the club's value would by that stage be well under £15m. Taking into account a top limit to deter corporate takeovers on the cheap, I think we'd need about 700 investors.
The 300 staff would be a major casualty, and I've no idea how a democratic board could operate, but I think oblivion can be avoided.

He's nowt to gain from people reading his Twitter. It isn't like he's selling freelance stories or doing sponsored tweets.

Suspect something has happened, but then most days something happens.

That's more or less what I thought until I tried reluctantdicko or whatever it is and you can't get on.
So therefore he's either:
1. Grooming a small number of excitable types.
2. Revealing his secrets to his chosen acolytes only
or
3. Has a motive I've yet to fathom...

but why would anyone use twitter on such a limited basis, its primaryfxckinpurpose is mass broadcast...

I'm with Harry here. Football employs the economics of the fecking madhouse! Further, if they now want to treat me as a customer I'll treat them as an albeit favoured supplier. Had this happened around the Rioch era then yes - I'd have spared whatever I could.

Me too. I will happily renew a season ticket year on year, well maybe not happily, but I will.

But I'm not contributing money to the lifestyles of agents, wags and players.

I've supported them since the mid 1950s, seen the highs and the very lows, signed up for Lifeline the day it was launched and still pay my £2 a week. If we go into admin to save the club I'll still be there and renew my season ticket next season for the goodness knows how many times.
I feel reborn !!!! No more confussion

Not even for part ownership of an institution you love, and the possibility of reforming the shite that infects it?

other than drive people to click on his newspaper stories - I'd imagine the paper can count clicks and determine who their popular writers are.. no?

not on his twitter feed - on his newspaper sories - there is a gaggle of people on there who fawn around his very word - and every now and again he says summat like "I've got a story about that intrigue I was talking about in the paper tomorrow" - and they all run off to the paper and click themselves a page full of disappointment - then come back for more!

he let me on - dunno why you can't get on...

He rarely posts links to be honest.

I can't figure out why he replies to hundreds of questions every day.
