That coupled with the fact that he couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjoIggyTheDawgster wrote:It's not surprising his confidence is low when a loanee keeps getting in the starting lineup ahead of him is it.throwawayboltonian wrote:I'm not defending him at all but given his extreme lack of goals, the lad probably has non-existent confidence which certainly doesn't help when we throw him into games we need results from. Sturridge kept getting in ahead of Klasnic yet he managed to score, as did Elmander. Hmmmmm maybe its just N'Gog.
That being said N'Gog has just had a header towards goal (improvement....)

Maybe an old hand like Dougie Freedman could do a job.The Berlin Bear wrote:i was kidding but We need a striker who scores goals.IggyTheDawgster wrote:He's only just come on. N'gog can score, He scored a cracker against Millwall on the turn with his left, He needs to play more. I'm not saying he's the saviour but he's far from useless.

Well we haven't had an out-and-out goalscorer since Michael Ricketts... I'm just wondering why other teams keep finding the likes of Charlie Austin, Jordan Rhodes, Ricky Lambert etc. (cheap players who score shed loads of goals) and not us?The Berlin Bear wrote:i was kidding but We need a striker who scores goals.IggyTheDawgster wrote:He's only just come on. We're waking up a bit and upsetting the home boys. None of it matters if we don't score. Come on Whites.....Petrov has a shot saved with the keeper's feet ....and now Warnock slips and nearly lets them in. Two efforts from Eagles pushed away and then N'gog just wide.

Sure he's not useless but when you need a goal is he the man to bring on?IggyTheDawgster wrote:N'gog can score, He scored a cracker against Millwall on the turn with his left, He needs to play more. I'm not saying he's the saviour but he's far from useless.
Time to bring eaves back

what we need is for MD to dive in the box and win us a penalty again...
