Wylde in, Andrews on the way in and maybe Matt Mills too.
You've been claiming Wylde in for 6 months now and no bugger's seen him.

Booo, can't claim for Wylde as he was already a Wanderers player but for FiFAjaffka wrote:Looking like a charmed thread this one.

Also didn't realise this but the transfer window officially opens tonight for the start of the new season. From a Wheater article in Bolton(E) News:
With the summer transfer window opening at midnight tonight, the Whites boss is already close to the double deals of Keith Andrews and Matt Mills.
And Wheater accepts squad changes were always likely after relegation ended an 11-year stay in the top flight.
But the return of Lee and Holden will be like new signings in 2012/13.

86th page - it's official (from the official site)
Andrews Signs
Bolton Wanderers have secured the services of Keith Andrews, with the midfielder signing a three-year contract at the Reebok Stadium.
The Republic of Ireland international, who started all three of his country's group games at Euro 2012, has joined on a free transfer following the expiry of his contract at West Bromwich Albion.
Speaking about his latest recruit, manager Owen Coyle said: "We are pleased to have been able to bring in Keith early in the transfer window as there were a number of clubs interested in signing him.
"He is highly experienced both in domestic and international football, and he will bring strength, competition and a goalscoring threat to our midfield."
Andrews spent the second half of last season at the Hawthorns having signed a short-term contract in January.
He made a total of 14 appearances for Roy Hodgson, scoring Premier League goals against Wolverhampton Wanderers and Sunderland..... yadda yadda yadda.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Hahahahahaha. He's getting lairy!!
Happy enough with this signing, he shares a dislike of the Dingles which would be sweet if it was him that grabbed the winner against them in the league

Coyle wants characters. Good. The lack of backbone last year was palpable. Would like to see Mills made a certainty before I can start to breath easier, but I make it Sordell, Andrews, Ricketts, Eagles, Mears, D-prats and (fingers trebly crossed) Mills with proven Championship track records. Its to be hoped that CYL* and Holden can make returns to form that they had in the Prem, N'Gog, Ream and some of the young lads (including Wylde)can adapt to the Champ, and that Wheater (and please let it be) Muamba make speedy and sound recoveries.
We could have the makings of a very good Championship squad. Hopefully the manager will remember what it was that he had at Burnley to get them up.
*Not entirely convinced he'll still be here for the first kick at Burnley, but lets see.

You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Three years for Andrews? That seems a bit long for a 31 year old.

One year as a first-teamer to get us up. One year on rotation to keep us up. One year as backup. Seems reasonable.

I thought that too but then it's only a year longer than Robbie Blake who was 74 when he joined us as well as a couple of stone overweightWhookam wrote:Three years for Andrews? That seems a bit long for a 31 year old.
