Sorry ? ..... Did somebody say something ??
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

I'd have sympathy if that was actually the case. In reality, whether there was anyone in the box or not he'd nice person it in anyway. But don't worry guys, that's not his fault!coffeymagic wrote:I was always a bit perplexed as to why we signed Petrov.
His game is totally based around getting down the wing and firing a first time ball across the face of goal.
That's great if you've got attackers racing in and arriving on cue but frequentley either his cross was met by a yawning chasm as our strike force lumbered up field or he was forced to check back and wait like a man waiting for a bus to arrive.
I liked him, thought he was a good player. Would have liked him to have scored a few more goals but at the end of the day he'll be a player that came for a bit and then left without really leaving a massive imprint on the club.
I wish him well for the future.

We had Klasnic when we had petrov. If ever there was a goal grabber crying out for decent service...

So it was at Wembley, first half. Eight if you count that Paul Robinson had gone missing just before the kick-off.boltonboris wrote:Be like playing with 9 men though!!

Only 3 of the starting 11 are still at the club, and 7 of the 18 from the teamsheet that day.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:oh God... he were a lazy bastard and i cud never see why folk got tumesent when we signed him.
think the 'city' thing blinded a load of folk, but he did feck all there too.
after the tottenham away 'shrug-gate' game i wanted him to get injured for a stuart holden lenth of time.
scott sellers were twelve times better.
paul robinson could cross it better too.
mr freedman had him sussed straight away.
