That *is* where we were, although in those days it was the Barclays League Fourth Division. (We'd been relegated from the Today League Third Division through the play-offs, but you try telling kids that and they'll hit you with a smartphone.)
Yeah ermmm the logic didn't work so well with the song titles. I'm allowed artistic licence goddammit.....

We shoulda signed lovely Lita. Maybe this game can stop the helter skelter to lower leagues. If the stadium's closed maybe we can do it in the road!?
The players you fail to sign never lose you any money.

You're all so polite, nobody's fallen for the temptation to celebrate a certain departure (admittedly temporarily) as Being for the Benefit of Mr Shite...

We have all the creativity of a band with 4 Ringo Starrs in it.

0-2 loss

I quite liked "Back Off Boogaloo" AND it had a blue apple on the label. 2-1 to someone.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

They wouldn't have him playing two games in two days, would they?

No. He played the full 90 yesterday, so that would be f*cking idiotic. It's not like we've got no midfielders.

I'd take a point now. Another bore draw 0-0.

I think we might win this. Ipswich are in a bit of a lull at present. They may be thinking 'it's only Bolton, soft touch these days etc'. We have a (very) little bit of momentum, players returning, others with points to prove, and if NL is to be believed, a good positive vibe around the squad. And once our back lot meet our midfield lot and both click with our front lot, someone is going to get a walloping. I think the tractor boys are heading for a major slump not dissimilar to ourselves last season. They won't acknowledge it until it's too late. By then we'll have battered them 0-4 and be charging up the table. (And Micmac will be exposed as the dour run of the mill relegation favourite manager I always thought he was)

I had a surreal moment yesterday, on the M6. I was driving back from Stevenage, I was around Coventry at the time, when I noticed the Wanderers team bus travelling in the opposite direction. I thought to myself 'and where the fecking Dickens is that going'? I had absolutely no idea that we had a game tonight.

Maybe other contributors have also fallen into a similar state of abject apathy? :?
