Coz we employed that Sport Science geezer that Liverpool used. It's the same with them. Can't remember his name.

Neil Lennon is hopeful that both Gary Madine and Dean Moxey will be fit to return for Wanderers’ clash with QPR on Saturday.
However, Mark Davies, Dorian Dervite (both knee) and Jay Spearing (groin) are all injury doubts, while Liam Trotter and David Wheater (both hamstring) are not yet ready to return.
Moxey is good news, Trotter much as expected, and hopefully won't hurt too much with Pratley back. Pity Wheater isn't able to partner Holding, and if Clayton and Zac Clough are both fit Mark Davies might not be as bad a blow as it sounds. Spearing will certainly be missed and probably Danns will come into the side.
Madine, Moxey, Davies, Dervite and Spearing all in the matchday squad announced this afternoon.

I suppose being in the squad isn't the same as being in the starting XI or even being on the bench. I imagine there will be fitness tests in the morning. But, at least they aren't ruled out completely at this stage.

Amongst all the specualiton we still have a game to win. Looking like Madine the machine will be leading the line based on N.L's comments about Heskey. May I extend a welcome to our southern fine weather birds to our haven of wind and rain up't north. I've postponed the dog walk till after the match because it's pxssing down right now.
Expecting a fiery start, a longish period of dolly-wobbling energy saving and then a frantic finish. Three goals for us first half and another couple after the interlude. So, 5-0 us then? I'll get an early..COME ON YOU WHITES...in then. :oyea: :oyea: :oyea:

Amos, Vela, Dervite, Holding, Moxey, Feeney, Spearing, Davies, Pratley, Heskey, Clough
subs: Rachubka, Madine, Derik, Danns, Wellington, Dobbie, Woolery

Wellington on both the cover of the programme and the bench

Apart from Heskey, that sounds about right. Put Woolery on from the start, use Heskey to help for 15 minutes at the end, or Wellington, or anybody else.

B.N had Lennon claiming Heskey wasn't up to a game every week . Looks like mind games was the aim. Bit surprised Silva out for Clough, but maybe it will work. Are we expecting a wing role for Clough or a one-legged blitz?

If it's the usual formation, who plays on the left? Clough? Pratley? Davies?

We're ready to rumble. Been to the toilet, couple of Paracetamol, fresh brew made and breathing on the post done. Silver Sony squawk box tuned to 107.4 F.M. Spate of babbling adverts on Tower, no mention of Axfords being good for wood yet... ah, there it goes...The minute applause for Phil Gartside respectfully fills the air.
Jeremy Simpson has the whistle job (apparently) and....we're off.

First attack repulsed and Amos fires us forth. Mumbles of court jobs mentioned and then....a bit of team selection and Amos has it again. We go.....Dervite gets us off. Pratley and Davies bring us steadily backwards and then Moxey wins a free kick. And.....Feeney and....Dervite volley....for a throw to them. And we have it back for a minute and then our ref gives us another free kick and it results in a corner us. And.....Feeney and.....again and...Heskey is ....offside.

Some mutter about things that don't matter then the visitors sally forth and win a throw. Pratley tries to set us off but they have a throw. Feeney and....they clear long. Hoylett comes deep but his pass is missed. It does however let them get a shot away that Amos saves easily enough. They come again before Moxey breaks and Clough wins a throw. Holding, Dervite and....Clough, Pratley, Moxey and....and.....Feeney can't do anything after a nice touch on from Heskey. Throw them and a visitor goes to ground. Hoylet, Mackie and....Moxey gets it. They come again and break at our box. Some possesion from them and then a goal kick us. Goal kick, is cleared by them and Clough loses out. They come forth and....Hoylet wins a corner for the Q.P.R's. And.....(mention of 300 visitor supporters) before we get a free kick and....bit of confusion and it ends with Amos seting us off again. Bit of to and fro and Spearing and Holden send it clear. Koncheslsky getting mentioned a time or two. We clear and Moxey breaks and....the keeper grabs the cross.
