Ah the glorious optimism of the new season. Looks like we will be defending deep with the lack of pace at the back but looks pretty solid to me and of course in theory it creates space for eagles and Hall to use.Medo and Andrews should be quite a solid buffer especially with Pratley hurtling about closing down infront of them. Getting goals looks tricky though. Expect a dour goalless first hour then maybe Beckford and Moritz coming on and us hoping to nick a 1 0. I guess Cravies is a good call to start up front given that Ngog and Beckford arent 100% though I imagine Eaves may be able to do that lone wolf role quite well too.So Beckford and Moritz for Pratley and Cravies on the hour and maybe Eaves for Andrews for the last 15 if its still goalless. Shouldnt be necessary as we will be two up anyway by then from a Moritz set piece and a Beckford breakaway.

Actually, with a combination of injuries and un-fit, only recently signed players not to mention last year's Player of the Season and the best defender we've seen for 2 or 3 years no longer here, loaning out an inconsistent but 'at least he offer something different' striker, a poor pre-season as we still search for our best 11 and try to establish Dougie's playing style .... we're in a bit of a mess going into this season opener aren't we ?!?!
