I'm starting to thing Dougie is either:
A) An absolute trainspotting style heroin addict, or
B) Holds a massive grudge against us cos he played for wolves.

Got to have the Trotter to go with the tripe we've already got.bobo the clown wrote:c). He's called Trotter, which offers up so many opportunities.Tombwfc wrote:I'd like us to sign Trotter
a) because I've always rated him and
b) because it's always satisfying when we sign somebody we've been linked with for years on end. What are Javier Saviola and Djibril Cisse doing these days?

I like that...........................

Good player Trotter. Always like him when I have seen him play. Makes me wonder if someone is on the way out in the middle of the park though.
Re: PLYMOUTH'S stupendously all singing dancing transfer thr
Yeah I've always liked Trotter. But it does beg the question of where he will play, and who will make room, if even Mortiz can't get in the team regularly.

Given we signed Cravies for £300k, I worry to think about what sort of left-back we can afford from what we were paying him (or whatever Preston contribute)jaffka wrote:http://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/sport/10 ... d_on_loan/

If we do loan C.Davies out then we must start playing Moritz up front - if I have to spend the rest of the season seeing Beckford or Jussikikiwitch play up front on their own I think I am going to hang myself. Ok slight over reaction but I will join that bloke at QPR who kept going mental at Freedman (bottom right corner of the stand)
The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.

There was a pissed bloke at Forest away back in August repeatedly shouting 'Freedman out!'.bwfcdan94 wrote:If we do loan C.Davies out then we must start playing Moritz up front - if I have to spend the rest of the season seeing Beckford or Jussikikiwitch play up front on their own I think I am going to hang myself. We all laughed at him, turns out he was a soothsayer, not just a drunken weirdo. He would probably feel quite smug if he remembers it, or even being in the east Midlands.

Transfer deadline day today. Apparently we are selling at least one.
The rumours are:
Chungy to Stoke
Mavies to QPR

Wouldn't particularly care about Chungy but would be distraught if we let Davies go.jaffka wrote:Transfer deadline day today. Apparently we are selling at least one.

Wouldn't want to see either go to be honest.

Wouldn't be distraught to see anyone leave from this lot, Davies would be top of my list to stay though.Relentless09 wrote:Wouldn't particularly care about Chungy but would be distraught if we let Davies go.jaffka wrote:Transfer deadline day today. Apparently we are selling at least one.

Chungy I agree, sad to see the shadow of his former self he's become, he personally needs a change as well i think.

Massive blow if Davies left in order to find a move for a Millwall squad player with a tenth of the ability. Difficult to see us recovering from that.

I'll drive Chungy myself. Cravies is on relatively big money, which is why the deal to wolves fell through last time around.
It's clear to me that we are clearing the decks for a fresh start, which may not be a bad thing. I'm just hoping we're more Southampton than Coventry.

I was referring to the proper Davies (Mark) to QPR rumourBijou Bob wrote:I'll drive Chungy myself. Cravies is on relatively big money, which is why the deal to wolves fell through last time around.

Re: PLYMOUTH'S stupendously all singing dancing transfer thr
As questionable as Freedman may be, I don't think any manager would "swap" Mark Davies for Liam Trotter. We may well have had enquiries about MD but coincidence doesn't always indicate causality.
At his best, Lee has ability (close control and dribbling) like few in the squad possess, but he's not been at his best for a while. And given when we signed him (2009: Megson spree) and extended his contract (2011: Coyle confidence) I would guess that he's on a decent wedge, from which he's offering poor returns compared to Mark Davies (re-signed Feb 2013).

Crystal Pulis going gung-ho on deadline day, with three signings lined up already (Scott Danns, Joe Ledley, Wayne Hennessey). They've already got a large squad, so I'd expect Dougie to be looking out for his old players, some of whom won't make the 25-man squad list (exc U21s), for loans next week.

Lee is linked to Stoke every window. It has become a running joke. If Mark Davies is sold today I'm giving up. Only player I'm bothered about keeping right now.
Chungy can do one. Total waste of space.
