Iles: "OK - the news a lot of you have been waiting for.... Spoke to the club and a deal to sign Adam Le Fondre CAN be done by the end of today! It appears his loan at Wigan Athletic IS being cut short and that the Whites are now negotiating with Cardiff City."

Suspect every month from now on till the end of the season will require KA to fork out to pay wages. Given the situation with the shares is going to drag on indefinitely.throwawayboltonian wrote:Iles is saying that the money is in the process of being paid. Perhaps KA forking out again?BWFC_Insane wrote:Daily Mail reporting we've not paid players' wages.
Super!
Which is worrying.
On the other hand, Iles reports we could sign 4 or 5 today. Which is good.

Re: Hanging on, January Transfer Window thread 2017
Plenty happening on Iles' blog. In case you can't access it...:
Wanderers... now get this... Could make four or five signings today. I understand that dispensation HAS now been granted to exclude Darren Pratley from the quota and that more work is in the process to clear some space.
Moreover, it seems there is extra space in the squad even WITHOUT selling another player. Can only assume that the quota has been increased... Football League had confirmed previous quota at 23 - and with Pratley, that was full after Chris Long was signed. If, as looks to be the case, that number has been extended. There is space for new players without needing to sell.
But I hear from my opposite number over at Oldham that negotiations with Chris Taylor have taken a turn for the better. A few clubs in for him now - and checking out one link with Port Vale - but as an Oldham lad you have to think he would prefer a move back to Boundary Park.
[On ALF] I get the feeling it would be a permanent arrangement. PP can only have one more 'loan' in his matchday squad. Deal isn't sorted yet - so let's not get ahead of ourselves. My understanding is that Cardiff have plenty of their own business to attend to...
Now told that "several" clubs have enquired about Jamie Proctor. Given Pompey's offer at the weekend, it has the potential to develop into a bidding war.

Also saying they made one earlier which was rejected; Iles is trying to discover if this is the same one being re-reported. "I understand times are tight at Bolton but Ken Anderson has stuck steadfast with his statement on not selling anyone without a massive fee."malcd1 wrote:Bolton News saying we received a bid from Forest for Zach Clough.
