Was weird seeing him celebrating Lampard's goal in the stands!
In a world that has decided
That it's going to lose its mind
Be more kind, my friends, try to be more kind.

Or lock it down, even. (Once the Fat Lady's done clearing her throat).

It's not like he's Benitez or anything.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Christ they've dragged this out.
Apparently they hope to unveil him on Monday. Frankly I don't believe them.

erm what? Despicable bunch of pricks on the whole, why on earth would you want them to do well?

The only reason could be is it stops both the Mancs winning.

Surely you could have picked another way of describing that scenario? :vomit:

It won't keep me awake at night, but if I had a choice I'd like City to win it....

Their fans that I know, are still ok, not got big billy bollockitis yet....

And it would also wind Fergie and that lot up sommat rotten. So for that it'd be worth it...

And it would be someone new....and their fans have at least suffered a bit in relatively recent times...

I'd much rather City win the league than the other two

Just for the change, like

And it'd really rile the rags

Abs wrote:Its clear only Chelsea is seriously interested in spending money on him right now. But with him being free agent in 6 months, Im sure alot of teams are promising him big money if he waits until the summer where he will get big signing fee and higher wages. If Cahill wanted to sign for Chelsea, he would have done it by now. I hope for Boltons sake he doesnt get selfish and make sure he either accept the move, or extend his contract and install a decent buy out clause so the club gets a bit of money. Sadly i think his agent will make sure he waits to the summer and get as much money as possible

Deal just been confirmed as done and dusted.. Missed a trick there Abs.. Oh I forgot you don't need him.. You have mertasacker

Farewell, then. It's a rare pleasure to see a ball-playing defender, rarer still to see one in your team's shirt, rarer yet to see him get the deserved recognition of regular international football.

Not ashamed to say that as a (midfielder-turned-)defender, I watch and try to learn from him. Not just the comfort on the ball, but the blocks and interceptions, the dirty work, the covering the many mistakes of errant team-mates, and above all the delight in playing football. I will miss him, and I wish him all the best for Chelsea and England.

That said, the badge and club will always override any representative, and we fight on. Let's hope - pray - that Coyle spends the money wisely and we get to see more Premier League-quality defenders in the beloved shirt.
