oooo thats a tempting cv !meehan95 wrote:what about felipe caicedo? he is a city reject on loan at levante, suits coyles new system and would be cheap OR hugo rodellega if wigan go down
Re: Boltons next top striker?
but that was because megson didnt play him often or in the right position. if coyle gets caicedo from city he would be instantly able to adapt .as with riga, caicedo has played in the premier league and he never had so needed to adapt

Maybe cack's a bit strong.
Perhaps with a bit more experience he could be a decent player.

Re: Boltons next top striker?
how can you possibly succeed at a place where youve got tevez and adebayor ahead of you. he would do great at bolton where he could shine
Re: Boltons next top striker?
I think Rodallega is a good shout.

Re: Boltons next top striker?
Is Adebayor still there? hmmm...Either way , two strikers ahead of you = competition, unless you're so far behind them that the manager packs you off to Spain because even West Ham preferred to take a defender on loan instead of him.meehan95 wrote:how can you possibly succeed at a place where youve got tevez and adebayor ahead of you. he would do great at bolton where he could shine
Just wondering on what evidence you're basing that he 'would do great at Bolton' , thats all...?

Re: Boltons next top striker?
Rodallega will be in demand no doubt.
Re: Boltons next top striker?
as he is a striker that plays our new style of football and he can score goals, a season long loan with a vew to a permanent deal would be great. also rodellega said he is settled in north west england and that gives us a great advantage for him
Re: Boltons next top striker?
If it were a choice between the expected £10m for Rodellega or springing for Sturridge I knwo which one I would prefer
Pfffft.
Re: Boltons next top striker?
How about Wilfred Zaha of Palace, young and industrious. Decent right nd left peg on him and with the right type of coach could be a good bargain?
Pfffft.

Re: Boltons next top striker?
Would rather have N'Zogbia than Rodallega
Re: Boltons next top striker?
n zogbias not a striker. two of caicedo, rodellega and martins would be a great strike force
Re: Boltons next top striker?
I would love to see Rodellega come in when Sturridge goes .. can see a good few teams after him if Wigan drop. As for N'zogbia .. no ta to much of a billy big bollocks for my liking!

Re: Boltons next top striker?
In line with OC's plan to bring in young shavers from top clubs on loan I reckon that he could possibly do a lot worse than borrow John Guidetti off of Citeh. He's unlikely to get a run out next year for them and needs experience. Less of a sure-fire thing than Sturridge like, but thoughts?

Re: Boltons next top striker?
He'd have been in good company then. As I recall, Burnley wanted to increase the loan spell but City thought that he wouldn't learn owtLofthouse Lower wrote:Burnley fan at work said Guidetti was utter toilet on loan there this year....
