Whats the TARGET though? got to be 9 points minimum and some fight, desire, commitment. Especially v Stoke.

We'll scrap victory against Wigan and Sunderland and then it'll give us confidence... put 5 past swansea and win the other 3! 18 points no less!

I like that prediction. Unfortunately I can't see us getting anything off Stoke, Swansea, and Everton. 9 points max

Yeah, this is my line of thought too. We'll be reet this season but if anyone thinks we're magically going to turn it around now the 'mare fixtures are behind us they want their bumps feeling.

I think that we should be aiming for 9 points at least, any less and I think we will be in a lot more trouble than we are now.

Wooo-hoooo.

Almost certainly will then, as long as we can keep up the great form we've shown so far!

Wigan (Away) Draw
Sunderland (Home) Win
Swansea (Away) Draw
Stoke (Home) Draw
West Brom (Away) Lose
Everton (Home) Draw

7 points. Not good enough

Anything less than 10 points and it won't be all over, but it will almost certainly confirm that we'll be spending the season grimly battling against relegation, which in itself would be a disapointment.

I agree. And ten is achievable in this run. If it isn't - we are in trouble...

12pts for a total of 15 from 13 games and a hope of survival, otherwise we are dooooooomed.

However, based on those first seven game performances (or lack of them) I can't actually see it happening unless Coyle can show a totally unexpected change in his approach to the games, selections and tactics. Not much to ask for I guess, so I now expect L, D, L, W, D, L for 5 points and a new manager!!
Well that's better than I expected, 3 points from the first game now another 9 or 10 from the next five would be good to save Coyle's job.
Depression is just a state of mind, supporting Bolton is also a state of mind hence supporting Bolton must be depressing QED

Hardly an achievement doing better than what you expect.

Sunderland, Swansea and Stoke, I'd happily take 6 points out of those 3, I think we can take Sunderland and Swansea but Stoke will be a tough game.

Stoke playing in the Europa league on the Thursday may benefit us?

Especially as they're playing in Tel Aviv.
