You do your job and see to the pies. Leave the entertainment to the artists...Wandering Willy wrote:Unusually I disagree with Worthy.

I hope you fellas predicting a defeat are wrong; looking at the fixtures, I reckon today is our last realistic chance of any points until the end of January.
Happy new year.

Bad weather's obviously hitting some football, but In the Championship, the matches at Millwall, Ipswich, Peterborough and Watford have all passed morning inspections.

Further evidence that northerners don't let the weather ruin a good game of football and that southerners worry about a bit of rain.TANGODANCER wrote:Bad weather's obviously hitting some football, but In the Championship, the matches at Millwall, Ipswich, Peterborough and Watford have all passed morning inspections.

The bench is almost more impressive than the side on the pitch. I'm sticking with the positive and saying 2-0 to the Whites. Commentator on Tower says it's not exactly a "must win". Not sure I agree.ChrisC wrote:Lonergan, Mcnaughton, Knight, Ream, Bap, Eagles, Spearing, Pratley, Mavies, Danns, Mason

Mills benched? Strange. But I've given up trying to understand Dougie.ChrisC wrote:Lonergan, Mcnaughton, Knight, Ream, Bap, Eagles, Spearing, Pratley, Mavies, Danns, Mason

A 0-0 draw to defy all staticians who think Bolton and Barnsley defences are shocking.

Domed. No doubt Dougie is protecting Mills from his 5th yellow, which he'll get whenever he plays next anyway.
Did I mention we're domed?

Re: New Manager Syndrome (Tykes Boxing Day)
Almost time. Be nice if we got an early lead and kept a clean sheet. I can wish...
Good show from the Whites fans apparently. and......Dougie either has a plan with this line up ....or he's guessing. We're in a huddle, probably praying, and ...away we go. Baptister gets hacked early before they have a sortie at us. They have a go and Eagles wins the ball before getting dragged back. Knight with the kick, cleared and normality resumes. Knight clears well again and Lonergan misses two players and sends it out for a throw. Another dash from O'Grady is cleared and Baptiste gives it away before eventually clearing it. Barking and sabre rattlling, Eagles has a do but we lose it and O'Grady figures again but plays it to nowhere land.
