I made the mistake of continuing...

Lots of repetitive stuff about close games, very close to a win and a great group of players etc etc. He then alluded to history and finances and said working closely with Gartside. Enjoys the job, not harder than he thought bla blah. Then slipped this little statement in: "I'm in full control on and off the pitch".

In summary, a load of clichés and bollocks.

Give it half an hour and it'll be summarised on BWFC.co.uk, Sky Sports, etc etc. That's what press conferences are for, ya dig?

Duggie is saying they are a well organised team and we cannot take them for granted but our preparation for this match is excellent and he fully expects us to win.

I quite like that.

So come on you whites, this is where it all starts.

Well they've definitely hit rock bottom. My footie obsessed 7yr old is now refusing to go to the match tonight as they're "really boring" at the minute and he'd rather stay at home on the trampoline
Why don't I have that choice???

I'm predicting a 1-1 draw, with the atmosphere of a graveyard.

Two positive front men and a good bench. Love is all you need. Don't forget, we had a clean sheet Saturday too.

With Moxey at LB, Ream out of place at RB, a seriously off-form Spearing and a never-on-it Pratley?

I wish I shared your optimism.

I've seen bats with more vision than Spearing. And that's being kind.
