2-0 to the Wanderers. But, it'll be a false dawn.

Press conference postponed till 2pm. Think Lennon was in Ireland covering the champions league for TV last night. Perhaps he got delayed travelling back? Presumably nothing sinister?

Meanwhile:
"#Breaking @celticfc sign Carlton Cole until the summer of 2017."
Maybe, maybe that was something to do with it.

I don't mind Lennon doing commentary. I do find it slightly perplexing that on the night our next opponents were playing he went off to do (presumably) another paid gig rather than scout the Leeds game. I know he can get others to do it for him, and were we 12th right now nobody would even care or comment. I can't help feeling it just leaves a slightly bad impression to me.

Well he did eventually make it for the press conference. From the official Twitter:
We're in a more determined mood than ever to get out of this position. It's a challenge, but one we're relishing.
There's no getting away from it, we were poor against Birmingham, but we still created chances to get something from the game.
Recently we have been playing teams in form and there has been very little in the games.
Yes, we could probably do with a bit of luck right now. When that comes our way we will improve.
The injury to Silva is a blow. We're expecting him to be out for about ten weeks.
I don't want to keep talking about our finances. We are where we are. We accept that and want to move forward.
Leeds will be a tough game. There's a danger that they could be buoyed by the appointment of Steve Evans.
Whilst I'm disappointed for Uwe Rosler, I think Steve is a good appointment for Leeds. He did a fantastic job at Rotherham.

I'm only here for the thread title. A rush and a push and victory is ours!
1-0 because I have a naïve optimistic outlook to maintain.

C'mon, Bish. Are you saying you've never done the occasional after hours, cash in hand exorcism to boost the pension fund?thebish wrote:Jugs wrote:He was in Ireland last night talking about City, so possibly.BWFC_Insane wrote:Press conference postponed till 2pm.
