Hmmm can you have "a wall" with only one player in it? Is it still a wall at that point or is it just a bloke stood in the way?

Looked like a clear foul by Adeboyejo, let go for a shot for Jones.

They cut through us a little easily there…

Can’t afford to give the ball away from the back. We look better when we go longer tonight.

Great ball by Charlie Kirk. Maybe one to watch. Morley esque through ball.
The near side pitch might be an issue, looks quite muddy.

We’re up for it. Pitch is a disgrace but it’s better than last year! fecking farmers.

We are just surrendering possession too much for my liking. I want some risks but taking a few too many of them in areas with low reward.

Typical small pitch, defensive and set piece opposition match for Bolton.
Frustrating. Difference is today though we've got an early goal.
Peterborough go a goal up, not great news, but as long as Derby falls off then we should be gaining ground.

Sitting in the Californian sun outside the beautiful public library in Carmel-by-the-Sea, formerly sheriffed by Clint Eastwood. I mention this only as I’m aware of the dislocation of following football on a farmer’s field thousands of miles away.

Nice one. Mid day in California I suspect makes a much nicer weather than windy in Burton.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Tue Apr 18, 2023 8:12 pmSitting in the Californian sun outside the beautiful public library in Carmel-by-the-Sea, formerly sheriffed by Clint Eastwood. Wow, terrible shot by MJ, looked like a handball. Seems like it's a case of who can play the best outside of the boot ball at the moment.
Re: Once were Wanderers...V Burton away Tues 18th Apr. 7-45
How's he missed that? The ball hits his arm and bounces the other way to the defenders left foot.

Oof MJ should have buried that.

Portsmouth besides having somewhat of a mountain to climb have gone a goal up. Keeping their playoff hopes alive. Bannan gets one for Sheff Wed.
