Santos out for a few weeks, good chance for Forester. Back three is Jones/Forester/Iredale which looks a bit lightweight to me! Charles playing - good news but could be a gamble. I’d be putting money on a defeat today.

That bench is comically lightweight.

Gonna need a top performance today.

Yeah I’ll be very impressed if we manage to win this one.

JCH must be licking his chops.

3 weeks on from a transfer window and we've got 3 B-teamers on the bench...

They’ve totally ballsed this season.

Aye. On a slightly different angle, the bench has only one non-B who isn’t a (thus far underwhelming) striker. Put another way, what positions can we change the game in?

We're gonna need another 5 to get something.

It’s not so much that I fear rear-end leakage (despite being of an age), altho of course that may happen. It’s not being able to ask different questions. Or to rest players and bring on fresh legs for the final push. “Finishers”…

Well we've been moaning for ages that Evatt never gives the B teamers a chance on the bench
Age and treachery will always overcome youth and skill!

And the key to a result is a good :kettle:

A couple of weeks of Santos being out wouldn't be too bad if it wasn't for what's gone on elsewhere.

Johnston being injured for the season.
MJ Williams being transferred.
Toal getting sent off.
Iredale with a drop off in form.

It's a lot of factors leading into this. I don't rate that back line and given that our wing back to go forward we'll likely end up struggling here.

Rough couple of months to be had. We need to keep our points tally up and address it in the transfer market come January. Lets hope we're still in the picture.

I'm expecting a sending off today.

There also comes a time where we've got to get on with it too. We are where we are and can't change it.

Pissing and moaning isn't going to change it.

Oh and as an aside, Aimson seems to be playing really well for Exeter...

Although he's in the middle of an Exeter back three that is already behind to a central header....

We've got enough centre-backs, compared to other places...
