Looking around trying to second-guess who else might be interested, maybe Villa (but again, he's been there...). Sunderland and maybe even Stoke will probably aim higher. QPR, maybe, to replace Barton, or will they be chasing Xavi and Pirlo?
Ah... Fulham.

Mebbes, aye. To be honest, bish, I looked at the top-flight table and tired immediately. Didn't have the heart to automatically chuck in the promoted clubs. Bored of all that...

They'll be too wary of paying somebody £35-40k per week just yet.thebish wrote:Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:Doubt Newcastle would be interested, and he may have burnt his West Ham bridges (although Allardyce wouldn't give a flying one about that).Jakerbeef wrote:Fingers crossed for a bit of pride-swallowing, Newcastle and West Ham low-balling him and a chargrinned Nige' proudly proclaiming his intentions to take us straight back up.

Can't see Fulham taking him if they're going to keep hold of that Diarra fella. He looked decent when he came in.

QPR. Nailed on, or I'll eat my hat.

Thanks NRC,all the best mate. I wasn't thrilled when bwfc announced that he'll join the club, but that lad really gave his best on every game and deserves a praise. He's a Premiership player, not Championship. Good luck.
We'll be back!

Good luck to him. We only really want players who want to play for us, regardless of our level. He did well.

Re: reo coker
Ugh. Guess with Holden coming back and Vela on his way through the importance of it diminishes. Still, at only 27/28 he could have really found a spot here.

We could have waited on him to see if he found somewhere better before cancelling his deal.
Good luck Nigel, you tried hard for us though increasingly I wonder whether you have the right attitude?

Re: reo coker
He had a clause that said he could go for free if he found a premiership club. As he hasn't yet found a club then we could have waited to see if he did. But we decided that because he'd given his intention to leave that we'd use the clause to cancel it (presumably built in as our protection).
