They cant do that, you cant make a full red away kit, they were taking the piss when they made one with a red top and blue shorts but this is just not on. Munich red .....$huttgun wrote:i can't really tell from that picture whether it is a luminescent (?) red or plain scum red. This will obviously influence my decision.
edit: apparently it is infrared

The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.

Whilst I'm keen on having our players not being in the visible spectrum of opponents, someone's been on the glue to think that one up...

At my old Company they named rooms at the Head Office after colours on the Microsoft Office colour templates.bean wrote:'Infrared'?

One room was called the "Transparent Room". Really.
The new 2nd strip is curiously interesting. I don't dislike it .... I'm not sure what it has to do with Bolton Wanderers mind you !!
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Bolton's very first strip was red (well, faded red).bobo the clown wrote:At my old Company they named rooms at the Head Office after colours on the Microsoft Office colour templates.bean wrote:'Infrared'?

That was because they just put the whites in a colour wash by accident, though.Lost Leopard Spot wrote:Bolton's very first strip was red (well, faded red).bobo the clown wrote:At my old Company they named rooms at the Head Office after colours on the Microsoft Office colour templates.bean wrote:'Infrared'?

Re: Bolton away kit (2013/14 season)
It certainly looked like it.
I prefer my theory though. Which is the Christ Church kit was red with black shorts. When Bolton got kicked out, they couldn't afford new kit and so reused the old Christ Church kit, which ny that stage (because aniline dyes were not yet commonplace) had very badly faded to pathetic pink with black shorts.
I think that theory also explains the Polka dots too. That's because they weren't they were just the remaining patches of colour.

I remember us playing Exeter in a night match towards the end of a season in the 90's and they'd had a similar laundry malfunction. They played us in red and pink striped shirts.mrkint wrote: That was because they just put the whites in a colour wash by accident, though.

Shite, thought you'd written "at". (And internally applauded your motorway-chewing away-day madness.)Bruce Rioja wrote:It was at Burnden, Sutty.
Does the night before Valentine's count as "towards the end of the season"?

That's called living in a false world, I was of course referring to Bayern Munich not 1866.bean wrote:Just stick him on ignore, it makes these forums an awful lot better.Turkish Trotter wrote:Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:I can normally tune out, but I just have to make sure you're talking about Bayern there.bwfcdan94 wrote:Munich red .....
