Right, come on then. All is not lost. Knight will score one now and make things equal.....I think. Knight gets ironic cheers for two clearing headers and we set off up the hill. Pratley.....and.....Chungy...and....Eagles sends it too deep. Fans getting behind the team somewhat now. Here we go again and...cleared. Mason figures, then Mills, Chungy....and hoofed clear. Free kick them in the centre circle and....it goes backwards. Again we sally forward and now backwards. Mason tries a bit of basketball and they get a free kick. "Knight not put a foot wrong for fifteen minutes" the man says.

Eight mins to half time and........ohhhhhhhhh Spearing lashes it over after a golden chance from a Given error.

Lay off to Spearing from Chungy when he should have shot. Could have got us back into this game.
Pfffft.

Eagles loses it but it only ends in a throw. And...commentators have a chat, then another. Then another and then Boro sally forth. Now we have a description of why we're losing as five mins to half time arrive. Pratley sets us off before Knight fires a header at Lonergan before Eagles gets whacked in the back to no affect. Now Eagles sets off and.....hacked clear. And......Lonergan grabs it and sets us of. Chungy, Eagles......and...now Spearing, Knight sends it to Given. Half-time looming, bit of handbags from Knight comes to naught and two added minutes sees them here again. Baptiste claims a foul but gets nowt. Come on lets go, goalkick to us and now Pratley's cross gets knocked out for a throw.....Eagles, cleared and Mills gives them a goal kick as the whistle goes. Better things second half.............I hope.

We are the better team. Boro nothing special IMO. Knight has been their best player ;)

It sounds like our two gift goals are the most they've troubled Lonergan. They don't sound up to much really if we get a grip at the back. Eagles and Pratley sound to be working hard and Chungy a bit short of shooting confidence. I'd like to see Mark Davies get forward and bang one in. Not given up hope yet by any means.

Richard Dunne and Titus Bramble have just turned up with their boots offering their services. Dougie's thinking about it. Part Two and bags of excitement to come. :|

Here we go at the base camp of Mount Everest. Fans trying to lift the lads, good on em. Lonergan getting the blame for the second as we set off whacking it into nowhere. Here they come but Eagles clears and then Mills clears for a throw. Now we have a sally forth and talk of their defence no being the best is heard. Free kick them that Pratley heads clear. We get an offside and Lonergan sends it skywards. I'm not sensing much excitement in the commentary box and I think they're playing Scrabble. Baptiste is down for a minute but seems okay. Chungy feeds Mason who gives away a free kick. Knight heads clear and Chungy gets a free on the D edge, for a charged down effort. And..... Central, 25 out. and Eagles....and....blocked and its cleared away twice. Chungy loses out and they clear. Now they come and......Mills clears. Eagles loses it and Davies wins it but it comes to naught. Ream...Pratley....Chungy....and muscled off it and....a goal kick. And......Ohhhhh Mason....misses a chance after a good run from M.D.

Thet visit but Lonergan clears, then they come again and.....Knight clears. Chungy tries it and then Lonnergan has it and sails it. Crowd really playing its part and giving the ref some. Pratley, Eagles...whcked clear anywhere by the Boros. Now they visit but Ream has plenty time.....Eagles.....made a good runa and wins a corner. Come on lads, and.......Given saves well off Spearing. Now......Given leathers it into outer space. It sound really atmospheric, if only we can get that goal we can go on and win.....I know it.....and.....Eagles hits a weak one before fouling Butterfiled,

Beckford's taking his pyjamas off too it seems. Eagles is still trying, now Chungy, Spearing, Ream and.....ohh, it escapes Eagles. Lonergan gets his first sight of the ball before Knight clears. Moritz for Pratley is the call and Mason leaves for Beckford.

And away we go and....Moritsz , Eagles.....too deep it seems. Now Boro make a sub x for y is all I can do yet.
Not sure if Pratley's gone or Spearing, talk confusing as we come again. Ream get a bad pass from Mills but we get a throw that's cleared. Mark Davies gives away a free kick. Twenty to go and we need it NOW.....lads, so come on. We lose it and they visit again to remind us they're still playing and...and.....Knight clears for a corner. Now they have a throw and.....Knight clears, then Moritz. We escape a chance twice and Lonergan watches the ball out. Come on lads.....give us a bit of New Year cheer. Moritz gets the groans for giving it away and now they have another dabble. Offside them and we get to touch the ball. Ream, Eagles and....Spearing and it's a throw. None of this matters against scoring a goal. Now it's the visitors who make a sally.

Is there some law against us playing Mason and Beckford at the same time :conf:

The attendance seems to have been boosted by all those Romanians and Bulgarians that arrived today. #satire
