Why does Cameron Jerome never play? Thought we was the pick of our January signings.

I think we are trying to get them to come on to us, the better to make space upfield. But I could be wrong. They could just be dithering. Interesting how quickly faith (including mine) is lost in a defence which has been impressive for months.Worthy4England wrote: ↑Sat Mar 04, 2023 12:53 pmI'm trying to work out what our Defence is actually trying to do...

Playing without any urgency. Energy preservation 101.

I see that one of Morecambe’s sponsors has the branding line “we’re right behind you”, which has a somewhat sinister tinge

What's up with Toal? So many unforced errors.

This is abject stuff. We are miles off the team we were two weeks ago. I’d say right now we are at the stage of wondering if we can cling onto a play off spot. Next two games are against good sides who I can’t see us taking a thing off with how we are performing.

Mbete stepping out a bit more, which is good - feels like we need our outside centre-backs to help outnumber the hosts

Shoretire is ok as a second striker in games where there is space. In a game like this it’s simply no different to playing Dapo there. He cannot do it.

Might be an idea to bring Sheehan on here.

I'm sure that's it Barnetto. I should have said I can see what I think they're trying to do, but they're not executing it very well...Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Sat Mar 04, 2023 12:55 pmI think we are trying to get them to come on to us, the better to make space upfield. Lovely feet from Shola who is finding space, in which we need to supply him.
