Re: BWFC Podcast
One mic. We tried two last time but a few technical problems kicked in (unfortunately we've got jobs to go to and stuff, so there's only a finite amount of time!).TANGODANCER wrote:Gave this a good listen and there's a decided improvement. Are you using one mike or two? The reason for asking is that during the monologue it's still a bit "samey", a bit more Pete and Dud droll than Morecambe and Wise or Two Ronnies type banter. I walked across the room to listen and you have similar voices, sounds a bit like one answering himself somethimes, if you know what I mean? The song and the crazy differences in singing voices illustated this to me. The singing worked fine. Hope you don't take this wrong as it's just an observation. You're definitely getting there. Keep going.
We did notice our voices are similar - scarily so at times. But that's what we're stuck with - it'd sound forced if one of us 'did a voice'. Two mics will hopefully allow us to stereo it, and clear that issue up - at least a bit.
And don't worry about making observations - it's owhat we want (and need). Already had people saying this weeks is far more natural, so that's an improvement that's come about because of feedback like yours.

I think Dartisan does a pretty good voice when singing in the latest episode though!

I've unsubscribed.
That singing bit was funny at first, but to devote nearly half of the whole thing to it is too much for me.
On that basis, a'hm oot

Nah, not miserable - not this week.
Always preferred the Football FanCast BWFC one, but that has gone quiet quickly.

Had the odd interview with a player or notable fan
Player Profiles
News and discussion
A proper podcast, basically. I believe the lad running it just decided to stop, which was a shame. Still a gap in the market for a decent BWFC podcast now

We've been asked to go and do a spot for Owen Coyle and a few players later this month, so if that sort of momentum keeps going then we'll hopefully be able to start looking at player interviews and the like.
Having said that, it is a 'lighthearted podcast'. Does what it says on the tin. If you're after player interviews and BWFC news, go to NewsNow, type in Bolton Wanderers, and fill your boots.
the FootballFancast ones we listened to just didn't really entertain us. I personally fiund it very dull. But, you liked it and don't like what we're doing, so it's a case of find the glove that fits I guess.
One thing we can agree on: We're the famous Bolton Wandererrs, and we're going to Wembley!

I'm just a little dissapointed that after mention of a TW poster, it turns out to be Hoboh.

It's on Thursday 28th at the Reebok (Lion of Vienna suite), and it's free to SA members, £5 for others.
