Happened to Arnold Schwarzenneger, and he seemed to come back even stronger....so fingers crossed.thebish wrote:or maybe he's pregnant??Beefheart wrote:Being hopeful here...could this rumour not just be something like 'well he's twisted his knee, so he might have done his ligaments, knee ligament injuries usually take around 9 months to get over, so let's say 9 months'.

fck, the lad has some bad luck .... other than that he'd signed an extension that very day.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Re: Mark Davies
First reaction when he went down was ACL. But then when he came back on even though it was obvious he wasn't staying on, I was hopeful it might have been a tweak or medial ligaments.
Feel for the lad.

Re: Mark Davies
Tough to take. Big set back for him and us. Just wasn't in the script. Hope he finds the inner strength to endure his recovery period. The other guys just need to get on with it. He is a big miss but lets hope fit again Holden and Andrews can step up so we dont miss Mark too much.Jez wrote:10 Months..

Bollocks, bollocks, bollocks.
Back to the drawing board.
I know they're very different players. but we could really do with Holden getting back to his best now.
And Eagles.

Dougie has just said that he sees Eagles "stepping up" to fill the role.

Re: Mark Davies
Shxt. Start all over again. Always seems to be more midfielders and defenders that get the bad injuries for us; Fortune, Sean Davies, Ricardo Gardner, Stuart Holden, Wheater, Mills, AAndrews, now Mark Davies again.

Sure hope he's right. Few could run at a defence better than Mark Davies.BWFC_Insane wrote:Dougie has just said that he sees Eagles "stepping up" to fill the role.

I know all fans feel their club is the most unfortunate when it comes to injuries, but this is a fecking piss-take. He's only just come back! feck feck feck

Aye, can't see it myself. I mean sure Eagles in there is probably the only naturalish replacement we have.TANGODANCER wrote:Sure hope he's right. Few could run at a defence better than Mark Davies.BWFC_Insane wrote:Dougie has just said that he sees Eagles "stepping up" to fill the role.
But Mark Davies was busy, where Eagles is perhaps not and as you say Mark Davies ran at people for fun.
On the plus side I guess Eagles is probably more of a goal threat.
Heck, we've got what we've got and just have to get on with it.
