We've got an easy run-in, judging by the pre-season odds. More details here

It's all hitting home now. Do we have to play in that paint bollocks as well? :hang:

Yes. They are trialling a new format this year, which includes a number of PL U21 teams in an attempt to rejuvenate the competition. Sounds like the kiss of death to me! :hang:

The EFL is the paint bollocks, isn't it? Or are they different competitions?

EFL = English Football League (Cup)
Paints one not drawn yet.

The U21 team thing is bollocks, another way to get one of the big boys to wembley!

That EFL nonsense confused me too. It's just the League Cup. That paint bollocks is of course bollocks unless we get to Wembley, at which point it would be proper.

They won't stay with this idea. Not after a season or so of older, wizened, experienced but essentially not very good players kick the living shite out of a few of the precious darlings.

3rd & 4th division.

Bring it on.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

AFC Wombleydon defender Jon Meades can't wait to play us. Not for revenge, more for awe.

"Then there’s Bolton – I used to watch them in the Premiership when I was a young boy. Jay-Jay Okocha, I used to love him, now we are playing them, so that’s just amazing."

More (but not much more) here

If he's a bit giddy thinking about Jay Jay, he'll positively wet himself when he sees the Goal Machine at close quarters.

Official site: Both Bury games have been changed.

The Gigg game (Sat 22 Oct), about which Bury were pissing their knickers over hoolie/police costs, is now a noon KO.

The game at the home of football has been put back from Easter Mon 17 Apr to Tue 18 (KO 8pm).

Are any of those 'League One 16/17 Expectations by Club' type things available? The bookies usually do them but I can't find any myself. Do they even bother to do them for the third division though? :?

The Guardian has something along these lines here:
https://www.theguardian.com/football/20 ... ched-evans" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

We're judged to be play off potentials.
