I think this is a good idea. A very good idea in fact.

It would be nice if they could have a similar outlet in the town centre too, but I understand the problems with that.

They used to have a stand in the Market Place where you could buy tickets.. didn't last long.. Probably a lack of interest

Bolton central?

In Horwich?

That's as bad as the 'Gateway to Bolton' being a one way road out of the town centre.

They should give Riga mugs away as half time prizes or something. They are so special.

Yep - and there will be a misspelled hand-written notice - in felt tip - faded and blotched by the incessant rain - saying something about 'round the corner you'll find... illegible... '.

So does this mean that fans will have to queue up in the shop to buy tickets on matchdays? It'll be carnage/Carnuaux's. How's that going to work??

I heard they were using that bit for a club museum, guess the thought of having somewhere else to queue for tickets (in less space) seemed a better idea.

Lunacy. It just doesn't work. There is room for maybe 15 people at best, with the rest spilling out onto the path towards the East Stand and club shop.

That's probably the idea. Commercial interest before common sense
