Poor performance, very little energy or commitment from our guys. We are missing Holden, but M Davies is far from being our worst player. We just aren't passing and controlling the ball well at all, too many aimless high balls which K Davies isn't winning and I agree that Muamba looks a bit lost without his normal midfield partner.

Soft goal from a back header which just went in, but they have had all the best chances. If Coyle can't lift the spirits and energy levels of the players we will get nothing from this game. A typical Bolton game really, losing to a team that we should be beating after four good previous performances. But why am I not surprised, its been a very long time since we won three premiership games on the run.
Depression is just a state of mind, supporting Bolton is also a state of mind hence supporting Bolton must be depressing QED

oh ffs! I thought I was the negative one!! get a grip - we've played some great stuff and we're one down and there's 45mins to go... we have enough class to beat this lot... Mavis had looked fine - as has mattyT (excepting that last free kick!) ricketts and robinson not having their best games - but, we're only 1 down...

I think this was always our fear playing 4-4-2 against 4-51. They are giving us no space in the middle and Mavis cannot find any space. As a result we cannot play through midfield and are hitting too many long balls.

Blackpool are playing the 4-5-1 / 4-3-3 formation which was so successful for us under Allardyce.

We need to change the formation or else we will lose this match without a whimper.

Edit We are making 2 substitution now so hopefully it will change our fortunes.
