We are falling without CYL.

Post by drifter » Thu Jan 06, 2011 3:28 pm

I didn't know in the past but since he left. We are 0-1-2. I guess he really was a huge impact to our team.

CYL
18 games played.
7 wins 8 draws 3 losses
29 points in the bag
Avg Goal Per game 1.78 (32)
Avg Goal conceded per game 1.23 (24)

4 games without CYL
Wins 0 Draws 1 Losses 3
1 point in the bag
Avg Goal per game 0.50 (2)
Avg Goal Conceded per game 1.25 (5)

We are falling from the table without CYL. Seriously need someone who can step up right now caus ewe playing Sh*Te football.

We've played Chelsea and Liverpool away in those 3 games.. We'll see if we miss him in the next 3 weeks. But it's too early to tell at the moment.

He wouldn't have had any more impact on any of the games as Rodrigo has.

I think your missing a couple of things.

Our record against Chelsea (a), Liverpool (a) and Wigan at home isn't good regardless of CYL. We've won 1 at each of Chelsea and Liverpool out of 11 attempts each.

We've only won 2 against Wigan at home out of 6.

Up and coming - we've won one lost one at Stoke - the one we won was a "surprise", Chelsea at home W2, D2, L7. The 2 we won were 7 years ago and 14 years ago...

We're missing Holden and CYL both. And our strikers aren't looking as good as they did in November. All of these are contributing to us looking a bit poorer.

Falling down the table from 6th to 7th!
Life is not like a box of chocolates , it is infact , like a box of chuck norris roundhouse kicking you in the face. And if you recieve a box of chuck norris , you always know what your gonna get.

Before he departed, CYL was our top assist man - six, according to PA.

We're certainly missing him, I don't think out downturn is ALL "because of" us missing him.

West Brom could've beaten us whilst he was still here if Odemwingie hadn't borrowed Muamba's boots, Blackburn similarly.

We could've got better than nowt at Stamford Bridge and Anfield (and probably deserved better than nowt at Stamford Bridge). Poor as we played, winning last night couldn't have bought too many complaints from Wigan. It could've looked much better in terms of points.

So as much as I want him to hurry back, I want Holden to be fit again and Elmo and Davo to look sharp, like they did in November preferably with Davo getting a few more from open play. :-)

Indeed. Like I say, fine margins and ducks in a row. One of the top save-rates, one of the best strike duos, two of the best midfield dispossessors, one of the best assisters. Take any of that out of the equation and things wobble - but as some have pointed out, if 1ppg is the wobble rather than the norm I'm sure we'll get by.

How can we be missing Lee when the player who comes in for him scores in his 3rd start and got the Preston Jewellers man of the match? Lee has only got 2 goals from 18 appearances and 2 of 6 his assists (Arsenal & West Brom) he should have put in the net but took too much time.

We are definitely missing Holden though as we've taken 2 points from 4 games he's missed Blackpool, City, Liverpool and Wigan.

Don't forget since November, when Cole won MOM and Elmander POM we've only had two wins - one we were lucky with (Dingles) and one we were extremely lucky with (WBA). Without that luck we'd be dooooooooooomed. Please can we have some more luck.

You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

I think we're missing Holden more. I'm quite happy with Rodrigo playing on the right.

Or the Corrie crash. I reckon that could have contributed

I think it was the cancellation of the Bravo channel on Sky that's caused this downturn!

I'd like to see the points correlation for that?
Pfffft.

CYL is coming back after S.Korea lost in the Semi's to Japan.

Saw the game, Korea should have won but bad call by the ref for penalty which should not have been given cost Korea the game.

We only scored 1 goal in the past 5 games?

Comeback ASAP.

Give him a rest until Wolves next week. No need to play him vs. the Pies
