But he had one good game, so now surely he must play every game, right? :D

Indeed.

I'm all for a manager having a selection headache, having real difficulty picking strikers when they are all playing well.

I don't care what anyone says, playing all 3 in a 4-4-2 is just a cop out.

I also think that picking Petrov to play against Villa is a mistake...

Petrov always seems far more impressive when he comes on later in the game than when he starts. Would it be impossible to start Elmo on the left, Lee on the right, and take off whoever's exhausted/playing awfully?

Is he going to be off for Lee or just sent off?

Nor as frustrated as half the Bolton fans when they see that team sheet each match.

If our three strikers are all such delicate little flowers that they can't understand 3 into 2 doesn't go then wow, we *DO* have problems....

...However, 1-1 Cahill!

How is Steinsson playing anyone? I'm intruiged...was he really just injured?

Playing better last 15 mins and pity we couldn't heve done better with our free kicks. Davo causing some havoc in there and Elmander was so close, although good defending to block him. Stop relying on catching Bent offside, he very fast to react and we're getting caught there. Petrov having a yes-no game but if we keep the right attitude and get Lee on at the right time we can do it. Sturridge might have done a bit better with Davo's cross but there you go. Commentators are pxxsing me off grand style with their obvious Villa bias. "Get the yellow card out ref" because Elmander bolloxed that cheating little xxxx Young for a blatant dive. Not the only one either. Yes, we know you lift your arms when you jump, but you're notsupposed to swing em round while you're doing it. COME ON YOU WHITES. . :oyea:

Nice to get that goal, and just as I predicted. Expect Sturridge to put one away in the second half.

Commentators had a go at Steinner too for objecting to Albrights late, side-line ankle snapper.

GAME ON!!!
I'd rather support Bolton than be you.

Bit of a scrappy first half. Hope CYL comes on second chunk. A win here, and we're well capable, will give us those magic 40 points. Only one yellow each so the ref seems like he's doing a reasonable job. Pint in hand, pint on standby. One each, Sturridge, Lee and maybe SKD should end a good Saturday. 8)

edit for speling
