FA Cup Semi Final Ticket Rush
Just thought I'd get the general opinion on whether people are looking to phone up for tickets or get on the website? Which is likely to cause less stress?

Re: FA Cup Semi Final Ticket Rush
The big question is can you choose WHERE you actually sit or simple choose a "price" block.
If its just the price block then can't see why anyone would rush too much?
I'll probably ring up because I've never had total success with the online system. Am prepared to wait in a queue as well.
I don't think we'll sell out either, so don't think there should be a mad panic. I hope every ST holder buys what they NEED rather than just their full allocation. Buy what you need but leave the rest in the pot for everyone else to have a fair go at.
Think we'll take about 30,000 down. Can't see it being many more!

I would like to think that the online system will allow you to pick your block like it does when we play at the Reebok

It might, it might not. Depends how advanced the systems are.MJH-12 wrote:I would like to think that the online system will allow you to pick your block like it does when we play at the Reebok
I suspect you may just get a choice of what price bracket you want, for the simple reason that the tickets are being posted to folk and I'm assuming not straight away (on the basis that if you buy in person they are still posted).
So that will need some system to track who has ordered tickets for which price bracket, which block and where, get them sent out to the right people......it would be a more simpler system to say "MR X has ordered 4 £50 tickets" say.....
Perhaps I'm being naive.

I'm sure if you sent an application for 2 x £50 tickets, you could ask for them to be behind the goals, along the side or whatever..

Re: FA Cup Semi Final Ticket Rush
My concerns relate to the fact that the view from the first few (7 /8) rows behing the goals are limited and from the second block you seem to be miles away from the pitch. My mate went last year and bought a yellow (40 quid) ticket. he said it made the view at St James' look close.
It's £60 ticket or take a big gamble I think.

I was going to go for a £40 ticket, but the plan does make it seem a bit away from the pitch.
Bijou, was your mate in a corner, side, or behind the goal?

I went a couple of years back and took a yellow ticket, and was sat three rows from the back. Was a cracking view but shite at the same time.

Keveh,
He was on the side! If you go to the Wembley official site, you can do a 360 degree virtual tour. The nets at the away end look miles off!

From the club ticket office: You wil only be able to specify the block number you want tickets in, not the row or seat if buying by phone. Therefore, if buying a blue ticket, you could potentially end up behind the nets seeing next to fook all!
By internet, the process will allow you to see the seat/row before purchase. They think.

Re: FA Cup Semi Final Ticket Rush
Because you can't specify which seat or row you want and blue tickets run behind the goals on 3 blocks?
