Anfield, FA Cup replay 1993 Liverpool 0 Bolton 2. The day of spiritual revival for the club. Dawn of new and interesting times.

There have been a lot over the years, but in clearest memory, Bayern Munich in second place to the Reading madness for me. Talk about the agony and the ecstasy...

And then there was the 58 Cup Final of course...

Coyle's equaliser in the 2-2 draw against Arsenal in the cup in '94 is the furtherst the crowd ever shifted me on the Burnden Terrace. Lifted off my feet and moved about ten feet. Actually quite scary thinking about it, but was a great game all the same.

The Reading game and the Cup win at Arsenal are my best two. The League Cup semi win v Swindon (3-1 down on agg with 15 mins to go) must have pretty special too, although I only made the away leg.

Great day that was. White Hot #1.

The game at Goodison a year later was also great.

Just cleaning out the garage and found this - your game is referred to in the bottom right.

Gotta be the Man Utd win in 2001. Singing "Can we play you every week" at Old Trafford simply cannot be topped.

All the above are great calls. Let me add Jan '76, FA cup 3rd round; Bolton 3 - 3 Newcastle. We didn't even win the game but it stood out as a great, great game.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

The 3-0 home win in the League Cup against Man City in late 1971 - Garry Jones hat-trick. We were two divisions below City and completely destroyed them.

42,000, including myself, on Burnden for that League Cup 3rd round game! Went on to draw 1-1 at Stamford Bridge in the next round only to get stuffed 0-6 at home in the replay with Peter Osgood flicking V's at me in the Lever End. Well, perhaps not just me.

West Brom away 2001. T'was the 1st leg of the playoff semis. Think it might have been one of my first away days as a 10 year old. It was beltin. The Baggies where 2 nowt up and Frandsen (I think) bagged a penny and old Gudni got a thunder bolt header in from a corner. Both goals in front of the travelling white army.

We then battered them at the Reebok to set up the glorious final at Cardiff, which was also a belter.

Gardner’s goal was absolute worldy. I remember it all going quiet as he went to strike the ball and with the sound of the connection you knew it was guaranteed in the back of the net.
Give a hand to my band… Sexual Chocolate

They play so fine don't you agree!

Mind you, Wenger's antics when Cohen banged a header in against the mighty Gooners a week or two ago just topped off a cracking game. Reebok went mad.

The away semi at Everton

Home semi v Villa

Okocha beating Spurs at WHL

Diouf beatin Brum at theirs

8-1 v Walsall

But, best of all, and if you missed it, you missed it and it'll never, ever, ever, ever be matched

This baby

A must win to almost ensure promotion, down to 10 men from the 5th - ish - minute and won it with 2 at the death

Good call, CAPS. My daughter's favourite ever, ever, ever. Fantastic travelling over the Pennines, car after car of our fans. Kick off delayed to get us all in. Yep, a wonderful night.

And thereby, almost, hangs another tale Will; of another night of car after car of fans chugging along the M62 to Leeds, finishing up parked on a half finished motorway exit, walking ages in the fog then being locked out. Not my happiest cup memory. :(
