Aaaaaaaaanyway, Norwich at Home.

Post by Bruce Rioja » Tue Sep 13, 2011 9:41 pm

Rather than all banging on about a game that no-one can do anything about, how about discussing one that we, or rather Owen Coyle, can.

We'll be going 4-4-2 in exactly the sort of game that we should be, but who should make up the two banks of four and, indeed, the two. If it was owt to do with me then the missing '1' would be up for discussion, too, which it is, but it's futile.

I'll go with a prediction of....

---------------- Jussi
Boyata -- Cahill -- Knight -- Robbo
Eagles -- Pratley -- NRC -- Petrov
------ Tuncay
-------------- Ngog

Fantasy lineup considering it's only Norwich...

---------------- Jussi
Riley -- Cahill -- Boyata -- Robbo
Kakuta -- Pratley -- NRC -- Petrov
------ Tuncay
-------------- Ngog
The players you fail to sign never lose you any money.

Ngog 2-1 Norwich. I think Davies is about done so I would like to see Ngog and Klasnic start with tuncay on the right in place of Eagles. Knight seems immune from being dropped but I would play Boyata in the centre with Steinsonn at RB. Midfield Reo-Coker and can't really choose between Mavis and Muamba, when is Holden back...

As I said in the Utd thread, N'Gog and Tuncay need to start. Should be 3 points....shouldn't it?

It simply has to be two of Tuncay, Ngog or Klasnic up front. Tuncay would seem wasted on the right flank, for me. I'd also play Muamba and Pratley at CM, unless we see a miraculous appearance from one Mr Holden. Boyata or Wheater at CB instead of Knight, please, and try Kakuta left flank. Last week was unacceptable, and our senior players need a kick up the arse.

Why on earth would you leave NRC out?

No idea. I'm a big Muamba fan, but even I can see that NRC is better.

2 banks of four eh, that'd be the day. 2 actual units. We can dream.

For me, it's like this

Wheater for Zat
Fab for NRC
Tuncay for Eagles
Ngog for Davies

I just don't get why NRC one of the few, who had a good game against Man Utd, and One of the few who is always looking to pick the ball up and move it, would miss out.

For me he's number one on the team sheet right now!

Think I'd go with.....

Jussi
Boyata Cahill Knight Robbo
Tuncay NRC Muamba Petrov
NGog Klasnic

And if it's not working I'd shift Tuncay up front and bring Kakuta in for a go!

Both Tuncay and Ngog (2) scored in the reserves' 3-3 draw with Arsenal tonight. Will give OC some food for thought.

It's true, partially. But it's like this. I can't ever see him being involved in creating a goal. And he's not proving very adept at keeping the ball out of our final third.

And yes, he is always looking to pick the ball up, and move it to the chap 5 yards just past him

Aye but you need someone to do that. He's a class above everything weve got in midfield apart from Stu and will be a great partner for him once he's fit. Genuinely think he's light years ahead of Muamba and Mark Davies, and Pratley looks more like a Nolan, than someone comfortable in a 4!

and played an excellent pass to Petrov who then set up Klasnic's goal against City. Depends whether you class that as involved.

Whatever we may think my money's on OC starting with something like:

Jussi
Boyata -- Cahill -- Knight -- Robbo
Tuncay -- Muamba -- NRC -- Petrov
------ Ngog
-------------- Davies

It'll maybe change, depending what we're at, with Pratley for Muamba, KD off if he isn't having any effect,Tuncay going forward and Eagles coming in on the right.

I think Davies could well be left out, just feel that there is a wide opinion amongst the fans that it should happen and Owen has potentially cleared the way hauling him off a couple of times recently!

This is what I would go with:

Jussi
Boyata Cahill Knight Robbo(c)
Eagles NRC M Davies Petrov
Tuncay NGog

Possibly swap Eagles and Tuncay around and bring in Klasnic.

Some decent footballers in that side.

It's said that OC has some difficult decisions to make with this week's selection. At the risk of upsetting our elder statesman on here, the dropping of KD is an easy one. He is just not good enough at the moment. Wish he was, but he's not. Too slow and dreadful with the ball at his feet.
