Jeez. Tell her lunch-time and then you're covered.

I don't know of many places up there. For under £100, it's difficult to do better than here, which is right by Victoria Station, 15 mins away on the Victoria Line, but perhaps you're wanting closer: http://www.bb-belgravia.com/bb_rates.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

One of my favourite Italians (big, tasty portions and not expensive) is at Finsbury Park if you fancy diving in afterwards, seeing as you're staying around?

All others welcome, of course!

Been looking myself. Let me know if you find anything & I'll do likewise. No, I'm not sharing ... no matter how much you ask me.

Precious little by the looks of it, Bobo. Put 'Emirates Stadium' into Expedia and it comes up with a few rather dubious looking establishments.

despite the advets the central London PI's and similar either are full, or when available charge £120++ for the privilage.

In fact, central London Hotel prices are a disgrace.

Just checked and was quite willing to say I was wrong.

That night, at the Euston Premier Inn, a single room, single occupancy, bed only (no brekkie) .... £151.

If only it was £149 !!
