Nexcastle got relegated when he left.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Then dropped like a stone when he was sacked and were relegated soon after. A bit like happened with us, and a bit like what happened at Blackburn. Coincidence?

its not about him leaving its about who replaced him at newcastle and blackburn. i think lee wasent as good as fat sam. sam should have won the league easily with the money he spent this season but finished 3rd behind a newly promoted team and an average side that cant fill there ground despite being the only team in there county (saints and reading) west ham just won the play offs in a game that they were the weacker team in

I'm sorry what?! I am a fan of coyle despite his mistakes, but big Sam did magic with us and I would have him back at a drop of a hat.

But megson, no no no. I never hated him, he had a job to do and did it, but I'd have Coyle any day over megson.
I don’t really know anymore. Megson obviously had more money to spend than Coyle and in general spent it pretty poorly. If we continued spending at that rate we’d probably have done a Leeds or Portsmouth. But then again, Coyle was the one at the helm when we actually DID go down.

Can I just hate both of them?

Oi, I'm only twenty three! Always thought of myself as young, and couldn't imagine there were Bolton fans who didn't remember all the Big Sam days. It hits you! It's all down-hill from here for me now!

Not technically a piece of Bolton related transfer gossip but may affect us Jay Rodriguez from Burnley to Southampton for £7m, yes that's £7m. What the feck must CYL or even Eagles be worth for that matter?

My mistake! Bargain then.

(Right you are, I just looked up the story in which it said Saints had come close to watching Burnley's valuation which was, apparently, eight bastard million pounds. Some tough negotiating there then by Southampton!)
