Taggart
Personally, I think we need a player like wing half Bob Roberts
Just what we need in the Championship.

Yeah in not saying dont play anyJez wrote:I meant more about the championship being a battling league, tippy tappy midfielders seem to have a lot more of an impact in it and I bet pratley and mavies both will
But I do agree a strong tackling mid is needed
mark davies should get and assist goals for fun next year. he has the talent...but he needs the right players round him as well.

He will be fine in the Championship, well done OC.
Zat and Ream at the back so far.
I still think that we will be looking to bring in another centre half.

This is exactly the we're-moving-to-a-pub-league-ergo-pub-players-are-fine kind of thinking that other sides will be hoping we turn up with. There's hardly a cigarette paper between sides in the bottom half of the Prem and the top half of the Championship.jaffka wrote:He will be fine in the Championship, well done OC.
Zat Knight is a laughing stock and will not be fine at all. Feel free to bookmark. I have

Just playing the optimist card here - there was a brief spell when Cahill was injured that Knight actually looked like he could play a bit. If the wages are right and we get Mills in too with Ricketts as back up, I'm not too unhappy. I do however reserve the right to slag him off when he falls over his own feet 5 minutes into the match at Turf Moor

Awful news about Knight, couldn't be arsed in the 'biggest league in the world' so he'll probably be even less arsed in the championship. Andrews out-jumped by a midget for Italy's goal :/

Clearly this means knight's agent has bee unable to locate a better opton. Probably because there aren't too many fecking idiot managers.
No, he won't be a disaster. He'll be "OK" but his lack of heart & fight won't suddenly go away.
Ream can carry on learning & Wheater can have a year recovering. I'd prefer we get Mills too tho.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

I said, I mean, I said ...
Fckg thing said it hadn't taken while, clearly it had.
All this from a bar in Croatia whilst watching some fecking loser miss a chance Klasnic would have scored twice over.
I think I've just learnt Croat for "wanker".

Andrews was probably Ireland's best player tonight. He was in their two previous games too.

ZAT Knight is to extend his stay at the Reebok next season, The Bolton News understands.
The big defender had been mulling over his future on holiday in America over the last few weeks but has now indicated that he will remain with the club into a fourth campaign.
Knight has played in the Premier League consistently since breaking through at Fulham over a decade ago and had been tipped to join the growing band of former Wanderers players at West Ham United under Sam Allardyce.
But the 32-year-old has instead decided to stay and fight for the first team place he lost under Owen Coyle in February after the arrival of US international Tim Ream.
Wanderers are close to wrapping up a couple of deals, with more news expected later tonight.
22.00 hours and still nothing.
Born to be a Wanderer!!
