Some people talk utter sh*t on here. Today we played well and lost. Last week we played awful and drew.

Exactly, we couldn't have complained had swansea been 4-1 and spurs 1-1 so move on.

We must get something against west brom.

I really don't know if QPR can get anything against Stoke, depends what sort of Stoke team turn up. If we can get anything against west brom and QPR lose then we should be safe barring a massive shock on the last day.

I think we'll get a point. QPR...I just don't know. That could be enough to keep us up or it could fall way short.

Our day has been few and far between this season, but when we're having "our day" (see Stoke, Liverpool, Everton) we ARE good enough to beat WBA. What's more than that, we NEED to beat WBA. It's by no means a foregone conclusion, but it's the last home game of the season, and it's a game we need to win to have a chance of staying up. Those factors mean that I can definitely see us winning on Sunday, even if it's only by the odd goal.

Whether it will be enough, only time will tell...

We've been playing wingbacks in a 4-4-2 system. Which leaves three, sometimes two at the back. We're woefully short of decent midfielders even without an injury hit midfield. Nigel Reo-Coker has been consistent but I wouldn't say he's been the man sweeping across the back four. He's all over the place tackling from what it looks like and that's left us under pressure at the back.
We could spend all day criticising the players and the manager but the truth is we really looked like getting something from the game last night until we got sucker punched on the break. The players and staff need to have a lift from somewhere to give them fresh impetus for Saturdays game.

I'm confident that the players can achieve victories over WBA and Stoke. They need to believe that.

IF ultimately we are to go down then I hope that we lose to West Brom and QPR win. That way it gives us an extra week to prepare for next season knowing our fate.

For me that is preferable to ultimately going down on the last day.

Obviously I hope we avoid that fate altogether!
