By your own admission, you weren't old enough to be paying attention the last time we were in the second tier, but as has already been pointed out, quite apart from the last ELEVEN years at the top table, our average position IN THE HISTORY OF THE FOOTBALL LEAGUE is SEVENTEENTH IN THE HIGHEST LEAGUE. It is irrelevant how many leagues there are, because, as has been pointed out to you, we never finished in a position to be relegated to them before they were created anyway.

I did an all-weekender in Reading, before travelling to Cardiff to watch 'little' Walsall beat them, a monumental piss-up followed. On the day of the Bolton game I drank four pints and could barely walk

Seeing as it's your home town, it's worth pointing out that it's nicer than Bowton, but Reading fans are like cardboard cut-outs in comparison to our mob.
