I think we'll do well this season. At the moment, the only two players we've lost who were assets are Reo-Coker and Steinsson, but if we sign Andrews or that Colombian international, who is highly rated, then I think you have an immediate cover for NRC and there is a replacement for Steinsson too with Riley and Mears. Maybe they aren't as good or maybe they're even better, I'm not sure. Either way, I don't think there's a huge loss to the team.

Overall, I think we have a good squad and I'm optimistic. I like our keeper, I think our defence will be solid and Ream will stand out, our midfield will be far better and has more depth than last year and up front, N'Gog should have a field day and Sordell looks impressive. Scoring goals is my main worry but I think we'll be ok.

The fear for any team which goes down is that the players won't have the drive to bounce straight back up. I think we have the quality to win the league but whether the players perform to the best of their ability or not, I'm not sure. I guess we'll just have to see.

If I was to guess, I'd say automatic promotion. I think we can win the league too. I don't see us finishing outside of the play-off spots.

Another fear is that those clubs still in the Premiership will circle like vultures and pick off star players from amidst the dross. Following last year's season-long fiasco, I suppose it's a small mercy not having that to worry about that happening (with our best players either already gone, with questionable fitness or out of contract).

Three options for the upcoming season:
-Storm the league until Easter, then stumble, but just about make it through in second place.
-Creep into the playoffs, and choke at Wembley again.
-Start slowly and then struggle all season, lower-mid table, another wave of contracts expire, Coyle keeps his job as part of the "masterplan".

We've got the players but I'm not sure we have the manager to get the best out of them to get us up again.

On paper, we've by far the best squad in the league. My only hope when it comes to the management is that he's been there and done it with Burnley.
