Just think LCY looked a little off pace early doors against Barcelona B. I'm not sure Burnley away is a game to throw him in from the start when the tackles will be flying. Think he might be better off the bench in this one.

Mears looked very good going forwards against Barca, so I thought maybe Riley would allow him to do that with some protection.

Its likely to be a battle more than anything else.

would settle for a 1-0 win by us, even if I have to wait until the 93rd minute to get it... Atmosphere is going to horrible is last time we were there is to go by.

Bodgan
Ricketts-Mills-Ream-Alonso
Eagles-Andrews-Mavies-Petrov
Afobe
Sordell

I agree with what BWFC_Insane about Chungy and how he's looked alittle off the pass so I'd give it a few more weeks until he starts games he needs competitive football.

In something less likely to be a kick fest than Burnley away!

If, as is likely, its a shoot out between chungy and eagles for right wing on saturday then eagles would get the nod for me. Law of the ex, goal threat etc.

If he starts 442 though he's a dickhead!

Bogdan

Mears - Mills - Ream - Alonso

Chungy - Andrews - Mavies - Petrov

Eagles

Sordell

Best saving Afobe to come off the bench. Would expect SKD to replace Sordell though in Coyle's World.

I'd love to beat them and hope we do.. But feck me, I hope we're sensible and play with discipline and a numerous midfield.. Opening with a point in a game like this, away from home is a decent platform.

So far, you're all living in cloud cuckoo land. I guarantee that he will start SKD, despite him being pish poor in pre season and not finding the net.

Bogdan
Mears Knight Mills Ricketts

Eagles Mavies Petrov
Pratley
SKD

I hope and pray that I'm badly wrong on this one

I'd be inclined to play him or N'gog rather than Sordell / Afobe.

Experience will be the order of the day on Saturday

Coming off the bench will give him a start, Burnley is going to be a feisty game with strong tackling, Chungy isn't going to want to do anything that is going to risk hurting his leg again, not this soon anyway!

You think we can play with ten men?

Knight's had one decent game lately. I'd stick Ream in for him and we'll probably start with SKD and N'gog up front.

Got a natty little fixture booklet yesterday. Seem real sad seeeing us in the also-rans section. :(

can't be too confident in any game mark davies is part of a 2 man central midfield

seems a bit daft we've had a full pre-season to sort out fitness and chung yong is apparently "off the pace". wtf are coyle and his staff doing. :/
