I'd rather he did that than put on a suit and pretend to be a manager

I do. I think he should wear Managers clothes. I couldn't take him seriously.truewhite15 wrote:Really? This bothers you? Who gives a crap what he wears on the touchline?

You know, Smart pants and a shirt. Possibly a tie, Although with Coyles dress sense, A tie may be a bad idea.

Nah, I'm open minded about it all. I'd have sacked him last October-ish, and if not then, then certainly over the summer. As it stands, he's the boss. He got it wrong on the opening day. He was getting it wrong on Tuesday, and then something happened, and it went right again. If it carries on going right, I'm happy. All I want is for us to do well, and I couldn't care less who's at the helm while that's happening. The evidence over the last 18 months would suggest that Coyle isn't the man to bring success, but I'll be exceptionally happy if I'm proved wrong.
I don't get that anybody's bothered about what he wears. It seems bizarre and pointless.

Carries on going right? Am I to take it that you've only followed Bolton Wanderers since half nine on Tuesday evening then?truewhite15 wrote:If it carries on going right, I'm happy.

Re: Owen Coyle. Shorts.
My point is that if we carry on winning, then there's nothing to complain about. I know that it's unlikely, which is why I've still got one foot in the "Coyle Out" camp. But a win vs Forest tonight will be a confidence boost, and could well be the start of a good run of form. I just don't know. When I say "carries on going right", I mean from the last half hour or so of the Derby game.Bruce Rioja wrote:Carries on going right? That might be 10-15 minutes too generous too!
The problem I have, is if we won our remaining 44 games, I wouldn't be convinced that Coyle could keep us in the Prem or have any notion of who to sign that would assist in that.

Coyle gets dressed with Kevin Davies.

Admittedly, I wouldn't be confident that he could keep us up either. But that's in the future, and as far as I'm concerned, we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. This season's objective, Owen Coyle's objective, is to get promoted. If he manages that, then Summer 2013 will be golden and rosy, and Coyle will have earned crack #2 at the Prem. If it doesn't look like that's gonna happen, then Coyle, I expect, will be out on his arse.Worthy4England wrote:truewhite15 wrote:My point is that if we carry on winning, then there's nothing to complain about. Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
